reviews are pretty bad…looks like a waste of money…

2 reviews and now your convinced. I have used these hoses for years ,first one lastest 25 years ,she had a few joiners and held together with duct tape in some places.

Stuff made 25 years ago is always made of far superior materials than what gets used today which is cheap crap unless its one of the rare companies that hasn't already outsourced everything

I bought one and they are really kinky, unfortunately, not in a good way.
        Why ignore the reviews?

        • They kink like hell. You really need to spend decent $ to buy a proper hose that won't shit you with kinks, especially in summer!

2 negative reviews in the last 2 years?
I wouldn't base my purchase on these.

How many people flock to the internet to rave about a hose

        edit: spelling

      • I seem to remember they did after watching Mark Wahlberg's, ahem, impression of Dirk Diggler

    • Yeah 2 bad reviews out of… How many units do you think they sell?

Without bothering to look at them were they similar to the negative reviews I found on a 250 odd litre fridge I am considering buying for my unit (I live on my own)

Negative reviews with classic justiications like "it's not big enough" "only suitable for 2 people"…

        That's what she said

On a serious note people make poor decisions all the time and don't blame themselves, this community practically exists to help consumers make better ones

My wife says she is happy with her current hose and that size does matter.

    • But are you happy with your current hose?

      • +1

I'm just happy it still works and doesn't leak.

    • is your wife transgender?

Totally okay if she is. Thought I might ask since we live in a weird world.

      • What's mine is hers…

    Best bong hose around

  • Bought one of these, probably a cheaper "model" but a Pope branded hose anyway. Absolute rubbish, kinks like crazy and is a pain to roll up. Tried to put up with it for a couple of weeks, then bought a similarly priced Gardena one and haven't looked back.

  • What are the so called "harsh Australian conditions"?

Hotter than Arizona deserts in summer and colder than Barrow Alaska (northernmost city in the states) in winter?

  • All the hoselink stuff I have bought, some off ozbargain, is so much better than the bunnings brands.

Generally speaking, hoses at Bunnings are overpriced. I bought the Esdan Premium Garden Hose, 20m for $35 at a country town hardware store. Great hose, does not kink. You can also buy it here: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/270661302226. Hopefully this will help someone looking for a good garden hose.
