  • No arsecode ?

  • couldn't help myself. Thanks again TA & PC byte

  • Bought one. Thanks!!!

  • Does anyone know when the Samsung Evo 200s will be available? I thought I found them at PC Byte via the above link but realised it was a Sandisk… plus $299 is a bit steep, especially when Amazon were selling them for nearly a quarter that price and in AUD too!

  • I'm waiting patiently for another SanDisk Extreme Pro micro SD SDXC sale ;)

Thanks for letting us know, I was only just wondering whether you were going to buy this or not.

    Any deal on 64GB?

  • +2

Also worth noting the 32Gb is available for $13.90 http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Samsung-32GB-Evo-Micro-SD-SDHC-Cl…

While it's not the $10 like before its good to see the prices decrease.

also found a 128gb for $9.99 from hongkong, that's going to end badly for a lot of people….

  • Thanks TA.

I.got a sandisk 32gb 80Mb/s for $13.45 the other day on ebay (got it 2 days later)

Is it legit though? Reputable seller? Have you run speed tests? There's a lot of fakes on eBay, I've been stung before.

      • Alas no speeds tests, I'll have to do some. I figured local seller & it has a hologram in what looks like legit sandIsk packaging. Thanks for the heads up

        • No worries. I bought some sandisk cards a few years ago that had packaging that looked legit but when I ran some tests they massively underperformed and then upon closer inspection you could tell the packaging wasn't quite right.

        • @rancho: Hey matey, I owe you one! I did some tests on it - I was really scammed, it was about 2/3 the speed of my Samsung 32gb 48MBs and even worse it was only 8Gb in reality. Thanks heaps for the info.

Told the seller & he gave me a full refund.

        • @supabrudda: No worries mate, glad you got a refund! I'm always super careful with eBay, unfortunately even a lot of sellers with good feedback are dodgy, it's just most customers don't realise they've got fakes!

Does anyone have idea why their Click and Collect locations are local Woolworths and Big W stores?
As far as I can tell Woolworths definitely don't stock these items!

    • +3

they have an agreement with Woolworths/BigW that they send the item to them for you to pick up from. I guess is good for large items that get delivered to home when no-one is home and then you have to go to post office to pick it up. Woolworths/BigW have more convenient opening hours which is better for some.

    • Item gets sent to the location you choose, and you pick up from there.

Only real benefits to it (imho) is if postage is cheaper/free to a C&C location (vs your home/workplace) or if you're away from a usual delivery point for an extended period of time and need something shipped urgently)

  • Thanks, bought.

As an aside, is PC Byte owned / run by/ affiliated with OzBargain? My PayPal transaction went to an OZB Enterprises Pty Ltd

  • ripped off, there has been a price hike to $12.89 for the 32Gb!

  • Finally all my phones have microSD cards in them

  • Missed the offer. A dollar more expensive now shucks

  • Email today from Ebay.
