  • Let me know if anyone buys some, keen to know if posting wine is worth the time!

    • I'm thinking about it. What do you mean by "it's so clean"?

In that they don't have a chemical taste of preservatives and other additives. It tastes like grapes. I'm no connoisseur but I'd imagine its what wine should be like. Google biodymanic and have a 30 second read, it's interesting. Organic type farming with no pesticides, herbicides, fertilisers etc.

Just read the Wikipedia page….it's like, organic farming with some mystical / esoteric influences.

          Interesting.

        • @clandestino: Give it a try! They have a money back guarantee similar to Vinomofo if you have any doubts.

          clearly!

What "other additives" would that be?

          https://www.google.com.au/webhp?#q=sulphites%20in%20wine

  • So does it have sulfites/sulphites?

    • All wines have small amounts of sulfites, I believe its a part of the fermentation process but some add extra. So yes this has sulfites along with every other wine. However i would imagine that they haven't added any extras. Plus the grapes would be pesticide / herbicide free

Yeah thanks. I'm not worried about pesticides/herbicides. I'm keen on trying reds without added sulphates (preservative 220) as they play havoc with my sinuses. So if you've got a bottle handy maybe you can see if it's mentions preservative 220 & eggs, etc ?

        • It does have sulfites yes. However as I said all wines have sulfites and it must be labelled in Australia accordingly. I believe it can range from 10-500ppm, there is no legality in telling us how much.

By the current USDA Organic Standard, any wine, foreign or domestic, can contain only naturally occurring sulfites (less than 10ppm*) to be marketed and sold as an “organic wine” as stated here

Sorry I'm in over my depth here now. I just thought i'd post a nice bottle of wine to share. If you want to come over to Sydney and share a bottle we can discuss the issues of the world :)

  • Biodynamic; cow horns filled with poo buried over winter diluted and subsequentlu used to inoculate the soil avoiding the use of super and other fertiliser.

I can't speak for the vintage but it is a lovely wine, especially at this price which is over 50% off.
I've been told there is a wine critic who claims to be able to taste when wines are biodymamic!

  • Will I get cashback if I use a WISH gift card to purchase?

  • Hi all.
If you purchased this wine I suggest you have a taste within Cellarmasters 30 day returns window.
The wine is affected by Brett. Totally undrinkable for me. Some others may enjoy the barnyard and wet dog aroma/ flavours this wine can bring.
    Mine is going back tomorrow.
