Mc-Cheese-Fries (No Meat) Burger Hack - $0.80 @ McDonald's (Brisbane, Ipswich & Logan) (Req. Coles Receipt)

1040

shopadocket have $2 docket for a cheese burger and small fries.

not available on their website but can be sourced from Coles supermarket receipts.

If you request this (can't use the touchscreens) from the counter ask for "no patty" -which they remove and removes $1.20 from the price. so you end up with a bun, cheese, pickles, sauce and small fries for 80cents.

80 cent snack.

I've done this several times in the last few days with out hassle.

4 of them and you on the verge of an artery clogging meal.

Big note: I've been vegetarian for 20 years so I always request "no patty". Thus "saving" $1.20 for something I wouldn't eat. Or not paying for something that I don't want.

The $2 deal isn't showing on the shopadocket site so this is unobtainable

    • as the post says the docket is not available on the shopadocket website but is obtained from Coles.

Shopadocket = Coles receipts. They are the same

          *Deal contains traces of unobtainium

        • +2

This $2 deal has been going on for quite a while but never once been on the website, very weird… I guess they don't want people just spam using them? It's not like they are hard to get though…

        • Shopadocket = Coles receipts. They are the same

          1) go to coles.
          2) get a receipt.
          3) see if the receipt has a Mcdonalds $2 deal on it, if no then go to 2, else,
          4) go to mcdonalds and redeem voucher.

despite this being a shopadocket voucher the actual deal is not listed on the shop a docketsite.
but you can obtain the receipt/docket from coles

This gave me a good laugh :)

cant afford $2 or is the discount for the sake of it. Seriously there is a difference between a good bargain and being a cheap ass for the sake of being a cheap ass.. When you drive bargains this tight you ruin it for the rest of us because they catch on and then don't run these deals in the future.

I respected the Sh*t outta your Masters Wheelie Bin post, even though it was small, blue and I got it for the sake of it. If I didn't have $2 on me and no cards (yeah it has happened) + I was hungry I'd smash this deal. I see no issue here.

      • If you didn't have $2 on you and no cards, you wouldn't be gettin nuffink

Good find Altomic. Being Vegeterian, i had never thought of asking for cheeseburger without meat…

    • You'll need a hamburger without meat - the cheese in the burgers isn't vegetarian. (Weirdly the cheese toasties are vegetarian though - maybe they'll let you get the cheese from that?)

    • +21

seriously man, how many times do you want to type the same thing?

      • +3

Probably just copy and paste until everyone sees/hears it. :)

      • The man is on fire, leave him alone.

    • +7

I remember the occasion when they did $1 cheeseburgers for a while. I didn't realise they discounted for no meat, but being vego I ordered a soft serve and $1 cheeseburger, no meat. Came to 30 cents.
I was pretty happy for about a week after that bargain

Twas pre my ozbargain days, otherwise it would have been posted here.

My current store has $1 Cheeseburgers haha. I suppose this is a deal.

Cheeseburgers without meat are actually quite common at McDonalds.

But you know what they say; going to maccas for a salad is like going to a brothel for a hug.

      • +1

Technically it should work, but it might not allow you to edit the burger since it's a promotional item.

Looks like someone has been making alt accounts, then using cut and paste to say the same thing. Maybe the mods need to go troll hunting.

To the veges & vegans who think they are doing the right thing not eating meat.
You are still supporting the company that is buying meat from companies that are clear felling and burning the Amazon forest deltas
They source meat from the cheapest supplier, so in oz marginal country
Clearing with two giant bulldozers with 500m of steel chain deforesting, creating erosion and desertification
Just FYI I've seen this in qld
There might not be any meat in it but there's blood all over it
    Try swallowing it now

    • Oh crap Coles and Woolies are buying meat too. I guess the vegetarians and vegans can't shop there anymore. The fresh produce has blood all over it.

    • thanks for posting your comment on your electronic device that's powered by electricity generated from coal fueled power stations.

    • You need to clear trees to grow crops, build houses and make roads. If you base your eating choices on not clearing trees you'll stave.

  • Just purchased a small cheeseburger meal for $3. Asked for no patty but it didn't reduced the price :(

What?!??? Gather the pitchforks, light the torches!!!!

      • Calm down, that's a bit of an overreaction lol

        • +1

So did you say "oh, nevermind, add the patty"?

        • @Ughhh:

          Too embarrassed to lol.
I even order 2 meals without beef

  • -1

I have issue with title, it's not a "burger hack". If you take out the burger it's not a burger anymore…

    • you can put the fries in place of the burger patty.

  • you can remove the patty and get your $1.20 discount using the touch-screen. I do this all the time for our kids.
