First post yada yada yada - no need to be kind, but constructive would be great.

Nice surprise while shopping at Big W tonight. Before you ask JV, it's price is normally $69.00, the ticketed price in-store showed reduced to $29.00, but product scanned at $14.55 at register.
Still listed at $69.00 at both Optus and Officeworks. At least 2 more available at Brickworks (SA) but unsure of stock at other stores or if this is a nationwide deal. If you're in the market for a modem that appears to be 4G Plus (Optus) and 4GX (Telstra) compatible (supports 4G Band 1, Band 3, Band 7, Band 28, and Band 40, as well as 3G Band 1, Band 5 and Band 8), then it's worth checking your local.

Previously posted here for $29.00 and here for $34.50. The comments within these posts suggest that the device is not network locked, however I cannot confirm this as I don't intend on using it right away. Mixed reviews about battery life on this device, but it comes with 4GB of data (14 day expiry) which alone might be worth the purchase price to some. You might even be able to price beat at Officeworks, but as it is not listed on the Big W website then this might be at the discretion of the customer service rep you get.

If anyone else can confirm if deal is nationwide as well as the availability of stock at other stores then that would really help.

        Nope, it's E5573s-606 4G.
        Not fussed as just need it as a standard modem use. Which is working well.

        Looks like there is stock @ Officeworks Joondalup according to their website, I might try and price match for another one tomorrow.

        Can you please post a link to the receipt? I tried pricematching at a local officeworks but they said it needs to be online. I think if I showed your receipt it would be different.

      Officeworks Glebe in Sydney is out of stock, and they checked their system and it seemed to be low stock (i.e 5 units or less) across the Sydney stores.

    I stopped into our BigW in Mandurah @ 8:30pm (it's under re-construction & ridiculous to get into, let alone losing 1/2 the parking!), & figured I'd end up empty-handed…nope, got the last 4!

    I do I.T. & have been getting those few folks who still use a USB dongle to access the net, but Win 10 doesn't work with it. Been waiting for something like this that I could carry & offer!

    EDIT: Just looked at boxand they were incorrectly signed. Box received was 3G modem.

        Depend on the staff. I tried at Wetherill Park NSW, unsuccessful. Even try to make them call the BigW store in Menai NSW as they still have stock but the guy said no :(

    so my local officeworks has it in stock, what approach should i tell them? do i first say that i saw it on Big W or should i immediately show them the receipt which was posted here as well by one of our generous member?

      I tried many approaches with the city ones. Furthest i got was them calling big w but big w advised they're sold out in NSW so they didnt price match.

      Thanks Rebelstorm. Great to hear that so many are having success finding stock still. It would be great if we could leave that stock at Colonnades over the weekend at least and allow the people of SA to use it for price matching at Officeworks stores. Not sure of the chances though.

        I think only OzBargainers know about this, as the sign still said they are $69. Big W held me one as well, so people could try that and tell OW it's on hold, if BigW Store is too far away. I'm not sure about OW, but know other Stores who used to say, they will only price match with a Store same side of town etc.

        It's South Yarra however this deal has been ended so no more discounted price at Big W. You can't do price match any way.

          @Metz: But you can try tomorrow, found some rural areas in SA did have some stock left. Some staff told me it's not possible to price match against another state, while some said okay.

        bummer.. went to Big W @Liverpool this arvo and the lady in change room counter assist in calling other Big W stores. Most stores around Sydney are out of stock and the only one hit the jackpot was Menai. 30mins later arrived in the store and the bloke said still some left. Not sure if going in person will help as this item is hidden inside the cupboard under POS machine (not on display).

        Called head office and they said sold out nsw metro areas. You can try your luck at the stores but sh1tty ppl bought up all the stocks and i suddenly saw a surge in ebay listings and on gumtree.

    I also managed to get kmart to price match
    But they would only let me have one per day if local bigW had stock
    Also check expiry date some are Dec 2016 some April 2018

    I bought mine at BigW, Mandurah, WA.

    Confirm unlocked, SIM card credit not to expire until April 2018. It tales a standard SIM, but I had no trouble slipping my nano into the right spot for it to work.

    Shows 4G: B1/B3/B7/B28/B40, 3G: B1/B5/B8 (alas, doesn't show bands?). Oddly, also says won't work for Windows RT? Hmmm…

    FYI & good luck to those who manage to find the last of these!
