Ordered some last time when there was the 30% off, got the variety pack. I’d like to share my opinion of some of the jerky to help some of you with your purchasing choice. Please note, I didn’t get any free samples and I’m not a rep.
Original: very ordinary, bit salty, without the spiciness this is kinda…bland and (no offense big Chief it’s just my opinion) crap. If you want something to go with the beer, this is recommended, but I wouldn’t have it by itself. 4/10
Spicy Sharman: Kinda sour, gives you that tingle. 5/10
Buckshot: again just my opinion but this is the absolute best in the range, spicy from the peppery taste (good for anyone who can’t handle their spice) absolutely delicious and you wouldn’t ever have tasted this before. Think steak with pepper sauce in Jerky form. If you can’t handle your spice but still want that taste, this is the one to go. 9/10
Sidewinder: I don’t know what you did Big Chief but it’s not working. Bland and dry in the bad way. 5/10
Blazing Saddle: Nice and spicy, this one will have you reaching for the water every now and then. If you can’t handle your spice, stay away. 7/10Flaming Arrow: HOLY CRAP. This one is a killer and DAMN GOOD. I drool just from smelling this. If you are a masochist, try this one! Very spicy is an understatement! Multiple times I’ve had to wash my mouth (please note that milk helps) and I’ve always reached back for more! If you can handle your spice…you’ll still be surprised. The trick to eating this one is to have small bits at a time, shoved a whole piece into my mouth once..ouch. I loved it but it’s kind of a love/hate relationship, sometimes it just gets too painful (Oh and please note, it’s painful the way in….it’s also painful the way out.) 8/10

Buckshot is my favourite with beer but sidewinder is amazing if you like a little heat.
We were stocking up lastnight doing a cook and when the Sidewinder dehydrator was turned on the smell was mouthwatering.
