Good price for this camera. I bought one OMD E-M10 from JB Hifi last deal so I couldn't buy this one. :(

  • OMD E-M10 is a good camera, and everything is moving to mirrorless anyway so don't sweat!

  • The D7200 would be the better value camera. No AA filter a sharper pictures, dual sd cards and it has a built in motor (the D3000 and D5000 don't) for all the Nikon older screw drive glass.

This is way lighter tho and still ~$300 difference in price. Depends what you're after.

      • The D5500 has no micro lens adjustment for lens and can't autofocus with cheap high quality legacy glass.
So you $300 saving is a false economy in the long run. You have been educated :D

D5500 also does not have an AA filter.

Yes, that's correct D5500 also doesn't have an AA filter. If you want to see a good comparison, check this

For 99% of people here, the D5500 would be a much better buy IMHO, esp. since the D7200 doesn't have articulated LCD nor touch screen!

        • D7200 is a professional camera the D5500 is a toy.
