    Ebay .. Fail.

    • "More than 10 available,"
      "History: 39 sold"

      …your doing it right!

the only problem with ebay is stock, yet most shops have less than that on clearance and people don't neg them.
in this case they seem to have plenty available…

just cause they are using ebay as a store front doesn't automatically mean its a fail.

I agree, it seems that for small business the ebay way it a very valid option
Accounting linked to PayPal (no need for credit card software), no need for a homepage …. all there

only problem would be setting a precedent - we could get a flood of ebay listings on here!

@muzzamo: as long as they have hundreds for sale… erm who cares?

one of my best deals was an ebay seller in the US ended up selling hundreds of dual digal HD tuner cards to the oz bargain community.

as i said as long as there is enough supply of a decent product, it doesn't matter where it comes from.
ebay deals are bad, typically cause they are once offs.

          • @muzzamo: ebay auctions are not allowed , fine if it is a buy it now with some stock ie what wisc said

  • Any views on the computer itself?

You should perhaps put the model name in the description, which I'm quite sure is the 1000HE model, which I'm quite sure retails for roughly the same price as that ebay ad. Shouldn't mislead people. So if i'm correct ill give this a neg, unless im wrong…

    • It is a Netbook. don't see any bargain

How it can be a bargain? The same specs Samsung for 287 and the same specs Lenovo at mln.com.au are bargains.

    • thank you thats a valid reason!

  • Old CPU, small HDD.
Cheap, but I wouldn't call it a bargain.

  • What is the model number?

  • initially doesn't sound like a bargain, but it comes with a free ship!

  • page doesn't specify any model number, they could literally ship you any eeepc Asus builds, why risk it for not a bargain from the 1st minute.
