Yeah I'd agree with that. It's one thing if you can check beforehand if this works like the EBAY free listing offer but with this you can't and could be out a substitutional amount of money.

you have 3 hours to read the rules about voting negative, and put some substance behind the reason for your vote otherwise the negative voting rules will apply and your votes will be deleted.
Why should you be able to ignore the standards that are put in place for the benefit of the community.
VERY SIMPLE read the rules and respect the community. The negative voting rules are there to assist this community. Why should you be subject to any other ruling than we give others
READ the Rules here. Thank you
http://www.ozbargain.com.au/wiki/help:voting_guidelines
and in case some of you dont read the whole guidelines this is the relevant section being applied here
…. Please include a proper description of why you are voting negative. Votes accompanied by unclear reasons or inaccurate reasons may be revoked. eg +1, yea, …. ?? etc
Update 3 hours up and negatives revoked.

Oh, Well i got the voucher too..the code is different though.. "CMOTHERSDAY20"
But heck, the paypal email address they send me voucher, i dont use that account anymore, it doesn even allow me to use my cc on that account, says the card is linked with another account. (My other active account)
Any suggestion, 20% off is a huge deal…
It Seems you can preety much use it on any product on ebay.com.au
i tried with a canon slr and it applied a $100 off to it..cool!!!
Now just need to find out a way to add my credit card on that bloody old account.

BE VERY CAREFUL.
PayPal only allow a credit card to be added/removed 3 times to any paypal account. Then that credit card number is blacklisted forever. You won't find this info anywhere in the T&C as it is a secret security measure, aka a real pita if it happens to you.

well, i've finally gotten a Paypal code for once!
I've just used it on a purchase that is from a seller from the US (but via the Australian ebay website) and it works fine, so purchases are not limited to items from Australia, but make sure you purchase international items via the ebay Australian website, if that makes sense.
kelsey2112 on 30/04/2010 - 16:09 ¶I think they send these kind of offers to ebay/paypal accounts that have little or no activity, as I get these offers sent to an account that i never used, but not to the one that i use all the time. if that makes sense?

Not necessarily true, with their last deal, EBAY free listing, I didn't receive an email and it applied to me. Maybe I opted out of promotional emails at some point, not sure.
@gotbean, Appreciate the post, EBay's marketing tactics seem to be very specific.
kelsey2112 on 01/05/2010 - 13:48 ¶Just saw a ebay promotion ad, stating if you sign up to ebay you get the free listings. So you could possibly make another account and get the deal that way.
inherentchoice on 01/05/2010 - 18:26 ¶+1 from me… it just worked!
Edit: spoke too soon, sorry… it worked initially and reduced the total but then once you log in to paypal it comes back with the error.
