Sorbent Toilet Paper 10pk $3.00 is 17c/100 sheets. Great price!
Pepsi, Solo, Sunkist Schweppes 24x Cans $9.00 is 37.5c/can. Another great price!

    • Time to stock up on toilet paper for the ozb photo competition.

      All sheets aren't created equal.

So I prefer to look at it as 30 cents per roll

      • Not bad considering the quilton deal-that will-never-be-repeated-again was 24.1 cents per roll.

      • But not all rolls are equal. Some have more sheets per roll.

        • Double length rolls, for example, would be considered as 2 rolls.

But I know what you mean.

I'm just used to comparing 'per roll' prices, in a split second I know if it's good value or not.

Don't forget to pay with your Cashrewards Woolies gift cards!

    • When did this happen?

      • +4

Cash Rewards always sell Woolies gift cards.
Hell even Woolies do. But CashRewards are popular for it because they sell them for 5% off all the time. They are currently running a promo where they're selling them for 5.5% off.

  • 20% off citybeach gift cards! FML I waited for 2 months for that to cone up before I finally purchased my sunglasses at 5% off last week

    • +1

You could always try and ask if they're willing to allow you to "repurchase" (refund and rebuy) the item lol

It's a bit of hassle but it can work (have done it before at other stores)

      • Yeah i hear ya, but i got them 5% at sunglass hut after haggling them down

we bought 24 Pepsis for $9 at woolies on the weekend - is it a continuing deal, or is $9 the normal price now? Or does some woolies start the deals early.

    • +2

      This deal is for Pepsi.
Surprised pepsis was that cheap though ;)

And some of us are Ozy and some of us are Aussie

      • +2

Don't see what's wrong with Pepsis (plural of Pepsi)… Although to avoid confusion you could write 'Pepsi cans'. Pepsi's is wrong because it's not possessive.

        • Pepsii?

        • -1

My friend and I call them preppie and preppies.

      • +2

It has been declared that from here onward a gathering of pepsi cans shall be called a Pepsis… :-)

A diabetis might be more accurate, although that might now be a question of your gut bacteria according to some early research (ref: Michael Moseley: Trust Me, I'm a Doctor SBS 7.30pm Mondays).

        • +1

          @Possumbly:
When you look further you will find that "dibetis" requires more than the application of Pepsis; it also needs Chipsis and Couchsis.
The process first develops into Fatassis then Megafatassis and then eventually Diabetis in it's true form.
Chocolatsis and Bigmacsis has also been found to accelerate the disease.

          :-) :-)

I think they decided to continue it for a week, at least.

    • +1

Woolies had the 24 pepsi cans for $9 as a late week special last week (stated at the time as Fri, Sat, Sun)

      • Was still $9 when I was in there earlier today, said until 07/06.

  • TRESemme Shampoo or Conditioner 900ml

Has ANY Ozbargainer EVER paid full price for these items?

    • +4

      Lol!
I tend to have hundreds of little hotel bottles of shampoo and conditioner in my cupboards.
I have my room made up once a day and always clear out the kitchen and bathroom "freebies"

      • And you never get to use them right ?

        • If I go to stay with family or friends, or have family or friends stay, I either use or supply them with free toiletries.
          But yes, some gather dust

        • @ozy: i recently poured all my hotel shampoos and conditioners into separate 2Lt (emptied and cleaned) milk bottles. It looks hilarious in the bathroom!

        • @chriskq: thats awesome! You win!

  • Ill be stocking up with coconut h20. Drink this almost every day! Can you get it cheaper than this? Im willing to buy bulk - 30+ litres!
