Baileys Irish Cream 700ml $23.00 @ Dan Murphy's

190

The price has been better but its the cheapest I could find , $23 bucks to wash away your troubles.

Baileys The Original Irish Cream is an iconic blend of fresh Irish cream, selected spirits and Irish Whiskey. While there are a myriad of uses for the time honoured liqueur, Baileys is best served simply over ice where you can fully enjoy the subtlety and gentle flavours that have made it one of the world's favourite drinks.

Don't forget to use cash rewards and to pay using wish gift cards. Every cent counts!

  • How does this compare to Omara's Irish Country Cream?

    • I buy Omara's from Dan Murphy's. Yes it is not Baileys but it's not terrible and for $13, a bargain (and let's face it, that's why we are all on this site).

Omara's is wine based, not whiskey (spirit) based, so its a totally different product/taste.

Thats probably why its half the price. You can buy a $3 bottle of wine (700ml)… Ive not seen a $3 bottle of whiskey.

      • Aldi used to sell something similar around 12-13$ and it tasted great, apparently I'm not fancy enough to feel the difference.

        • Hah. No offence intended - tastebuds are extremely subjective.

To be honest I think it largely depends on what you are used to.. if you start with Feeneys etc, Baileys may never taste as good. If you start with Baileys, its hard to find anything else that tastes so good.

But it makese sense that a wine based product (where the base product is ~10% alc vol) will not have the same "kick" as a whiskey (37%) based product.
