Amd - for that matter - what's it do?

Do we need to buy subscriptions to content providers to get value from it?

PS Unrelated: How's the best way to get satellite TV from India, China & Asia, but via Internet?

    • For India, I have heard of this one called YuppTv. Not sure about quality etc.

    • It streams paid streaming services like Netflix and Hulu, but also can use PLEX to stream your own content. Also plays Youtube quite nicely.

  • dammit, just bought last week. great little unit for plex and netflix in one device.

  • Does anyone know if presto would work on this?

    • Nope sorry, only available on the telstra branded roku product

According to the write up, it has dual band wireless. Um, how does that work when they only specify range out at 802.11b/g/n speeds?

    • Not quite 100% on what you're asking, but wireless N is on 2.4 and 5GHz which is where dual band comes from.
