does the fine print say anything about multiple redemptions?

    • One voucher per translation. Nothing about multiple redemptions per WRC (Woolworths Rewards card).

  • doubt it will work for opal recharge.

    • It should work for Opal recharge, there's nothing in the T&C's that say it shouldn't.

      • +3

Last time they had this it didn't work for opal and the checkout person took the coupon from me so I couldn't use it again.

    • +4

It wont work with opal recharge. Woolworths already updated their system.

Opal top up excluded all promotions

      • +2

I can confirm that it didnt work when I use my personal promotions to topup opal, it didnt register any discount at all.

      • -2

        Wow, that sucks.

  • Excludes Tasmania and Metro stores

    • +1

T&Cs says it's valid at metro stores.

      • Yes you're right. Sorry. Misread where the bracket ended.

    • You get this if on-line TAS order, eg can only use Woolworths Reqrds card, you cant use Frequent Shopper Card:). You just cant use Woolworths rewards TAS in-store…..

  • +3

excludes … tobbacco products, infant formula, gift cards, mobile recharge, Woolworths mobile, travel cards and tickets and Carpet Care

From previous experience, it worked for Opal top up.

  • Last week I got an email from WOW, saying if I spend more than $90 during the week (even multiple transactions), I get $10 WOW doolar.

    • I actually got something in the mail which was strange dont think i ever have before & my offer was spend $30 each week for 3 weeks & get $20 woolworths dollars ,so thanks OP i will combine the two offers .

      • +1

Combine the 5.5% off Giftcard to get more discount.

        • +2

The Opal purchase is being excluded now.. Last week my purchase did not qualify for a promotion. When I contacted the Everyday reward customer service, I got the response as below:

I’m sorry to see you've experienced issues earning Woolworths Dollars and apologise for any inconvenience this has caused.

I’m sorry to inform you that purchasing of Opal Adult Top Up dollars are excluded items for this promotion. Therefore, you are not eligible for the 1st week reward.

Taking a look at the promotions mechanics and offer's Terms and Conditions will help you specify where you can use it.

So use it at your own risk..

    • If the terms and conditions do not exclude it I'd push the issue further up the chain.

      • This case is easier to argue with the manager in store as you know the outcome immediately. AG1304x had the issue of not knowing they had not qualified for the first week.

It should have been printed on his docket whether it worked or not. Immediate feedback.

        • @ihbh:
It didn't print in the docket, as it said I am short of $80, so I contacted the Everyday reward customer service.. The words I copied above was the response from them..

        • +1

Will arguing with the manager help or just help pass some of your time?

The rewards program is run independent of store operations, don't think the manager can do much about a data collection and rewards system.

Store manager can give you immediate discounts on last weeks mouldy bread.

        • @tonsta: I've had a store manager give me a $10 gift card when the in-store fuel discount didn't apply at the service station nearby. Turns out the posters went up in the super market before the promotion had started.

        • +1

@sween64: yeah i get your point, but they didn't actually "fix" the fuel problem, they gave your a freebie out of the stores budget.

I was refering to the store manager actually correcting a system issue, they actually have zero control over these things at store level.

        • @tonsta: Oh yeah that's never gonna happen but compensation helps.

      • +2

The Opal recharge is referred as "travel card" exclusion

  • +2

Looking at the current terms and conditions, it looks like it has an exclusion for "travel cards".

How about giftcard plus $1 chocolate? Will it work like last time?

    • +2

      Test it.

  • +3

Can you pay for the $100 with an eGift Card and still obtain the Woolworths Dollars?

    • i am sure it works.

    • +1

      yes

  • So the ebay group deal for woolworths online just got even better!

  • does this work with staff discount?

  • Does it not start til Wednesday? My online order is saying it's not recognised (yet it is in the catalogue for my area)

    • +1

      22–28 Jun

  • +1

Why is Tas excluded… Just curious

  • +5

Can confirm that the code doesn't work with the eBay voucher. Sad face. Says no other codes etc allowed.

  • +6

Just confirming this DOES work on gift cards for 3rd parties. Eg all retailers outside the WW group.

you CAN use the deal multiple times. Just separate your transactions.

    First gift card $100 + $10 bonus
    Second GC = $100 - $10 = $90 +$10 bonus
3rd gift card. As above. Etc
Left over $10. Straight onto Opal

I'll probably be spewing next week when there's a 20% discount on GCs but couldn't resist.

Exclude milk powder infant formula seriously?

      • This isn't the case any more because of heavy tax on imported milk formula at customs in China. Also less people buy and sell over there because there's direct exports from companies.

That's why you see heaps of stock especially step 3 stock everywhere now. And plenty of Bellamy too.

It is however still a business for those back to China souvenir shops.

  • Does it work still or EXPIRED?

    • Finishes midnight tonight 28/06

      • +1

        ok thanks
