Paris, 1789. The French Revolution turns a once magnificent city into a place of terror and chaos. Its cobblestoned streets run red with the blood of commoners who dare to rise up against an oppressive aristocracy. Yet as the nation tears itself apart, a young man named Arno will embark upon an extraordinary journey to expose the true powers behind the Revolution. His pursuit will throw him into the middle of a ruthless struggle for the fate of a nation, and transform him into a true Master Assassin.

Introducing Assassin's Creed Unity, the blockbuster franchise's new chapter powered by the all new Anvil engine, rebuilt from the ground up for next gen. From the storming of the Bastille to the execution of King Louis XVI, experience the French Revolution as never before, and help the people of France carve an entirely new destiny.

  • Great price. Thanks OP!

  • Wish it was there for PC too… :(

Looks like it's about $9 from EB Games here, so still pretty cheap.

      • Thanks a lot… I should get it :)

Wishful thinking: Seeing the Halo Master Chief digital codes they sell reach a similar price point.

Given the rate at which the price has been dropping on that title, it will probably be much longer before it is at this sort of price point.

Weren't the reviews for this terrible? I value my time too much to waste it playing bad games.

    • Nope

    • The console versions were okay but the PC port had some horrible issues. They've since patched it a lot accross all platforms and it's quite good now.

      • The game may "finally" run well, although you'll need a high end PC to run it properly. The problem is it is such a mess of a game, the story was not engaging in the slightest and there was far too much filler for such an uninspired setting. Worst Creed game I have played, I'd recommend you get Rogue instead it's wonderful if a little shorter than I would like.

    • Assassins Creed has been terrible for a long time now. Last time I bothered was with ACIII, and it was so bad I barely put 3 hours into it.

Syndicate is a move in the right direction. They put way less of those stupid side missions everywhere in it. I think assassins creed II was the peak in the series and then black flag. The rest are kinda meh.

        • Yeah after getting burnt on ACIII I heard a few good things about Black Flag, particularly the seafaring (I presume there was more to it than that). Just wasn't going to risk it after ACIII, but if I see it secondhand for $5 or something I will give it a go.

        • @COR80: nah the seafaring is pretty much a game in itself and you can just ignore the campaign and spend hrs being a pirate :) it's awesome.

Just brace yourself for probably the worst ending in recent times. Literally like they were late for a bus or something and had to stop writing script that made sense….

you play assassins creed games for the story? :P

crappy story lines aside, this game is worth it for under $5. i got it a few weeks back. Climbing and jumping is improved but still not perfect.

  • There is too little love for PS4 :(

    • Yeah PS4 titles rarely as cheap as XB1.

One of the reasons I went XB1 instead of PS4 - even though PS4 has better graphics.

  • I thought the cd keys website was dodgy?

    • Bought from them various times. Never had a problem. YMMV.
