    Heard it was pretty bad?

27% on Rotten Tomatoes, which is appalling.
The uncut version is apparently better, but I can't imagine a bit of extra footage turning a film from garbage into a masterpiece.

      • Its a pity.
        Marvel are killing DC.
        Hopefully Suicide squad is better.

Watched it today and while punishingly long, it was indeed better - many things made far more sense as they were explained / set up by previously missing scenes.

For anyone that hated the original cut and was left confused, I'd recommend giving the extended version a go if you have 3 hours to waste.

        • 'Watched it today and while punishingly long, it was indeed better"

I haven't actually seen the film at all. Put off by reviews. The uncut film as a stand alone, is it still worth the watch, or still what you'd call a bad film?

          @edshays:

If you plan on watching everything that's yet to be made and released and hoping it all (kinda/hopefully) makes sense along the way, it's definitely worth seeing but only the extended cut. If you don't care for continuity or for superhero movies in general then flip a coin.

I enjoyed the extended far more than the theatrical version, shame they didn't go with this first up but it still would have gotten slammed due to running time even though it's significantly better.

Keep in mind though that while cheap, the offer in this deal is not the extended cut.

  • Already available? Pretty quick from cinema to own now. Or maybe just for terrible movies?

the time between deadpool's theatrical release and home was also crazy. I think cinema release was Feb and home release was May

    • Movies are being released a lot faster now. Usual time frame was 6 months now it's done to 3-4 months.

Woah. I don't even watch pirated stuff unless its 720 or higher ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

    • Our apologies, Batman V. Superman: The Dawn of Justice is in fact only available in SD due to content restrictions.

It was our mistake to put up this offer including the HD pricing on OzBargain initially, and we apologise for the misunderstanding!

      Regards,

      Louise.

I like the suggested "More Like This" movies below the Superman/Batman - Judy Dench starring in Ladies In Lavender :)

I think you have posted this on the wrong website. This site is for bargains.

      Here, have overpriced DRM crap.

      (small voice) please?

  • SD is fine with me. My internet struggles to stream SD let alone HD. And no nbn in sight for me. Thanks dendy. Will be adding this to the collection of movies I've bought.
