  • From memory Uniqlo jeans all need to be tailored to the right length. Its free instore for their normal priced stuff. But not for their discounted lines, so better fire up the sewing machine if you want a pair for 10 bucks.

    • +1

It's free if item is at least $29.90, otherwise $6 if I remember correctly.

      • That's right. I was with a mate at the Pitt Street Uniqlo today.

Looks like they use the sale price rather than the normal price for the adjustment deal. Definitely $6 per pair of pants.

"I think I'll buy these jeans for $10 and save $50. Oh damn, they're too long and I can't make them shorter. Guess I'll buy these $70 jeans instead because then they can shorten it for free"

    • +1

They are 34 inch length, so most men would need to hem them or roll up the cuffs.

      • There's heaps of other sizes in store.

      • Just bought a pair. I am six feet and the length is not bothersome. Just hike them up a bit.

They really highlight your package though or lack thereof. Way more than black skinny jeans.

I've always considered white jeans to be too high risk for out of the house wear. At this price point though…

A black colour would have been great, white seems pretty gay, not that I am against gay.

    • +3

      your comment is homophobic

There's some good humour in this thread but maybe we should close it off as other parts aren't in the spirit of the OzB community and are being interpreted as offensive - whether intended or not.

I think we all agree these are just terrible jeans and don't qualify as a bargain because they can't be worn unless you're playing lawn bowls or getting married in a beach.

    • I agree
      Jeans can't be gay
I see the local 'cowboys' dress up like their headed to town
I think it's all related in a country road, I'm down to earth, studying to be a doctor, yes this is my bmw, overstyled kind of way
      Assless chaps, now their gay
      you know,
if you wear them at night
      With maybe a pink boa
      mmmm darling

  • +3

if you see someone wear white jeans pretty sure he bought it from uniqlo recently:)

  • One again, I love Ozbargin for the comments and, in general the tolerance of a bit of borderline what is considered non-diverse humour.

And in the name of humour, when white was fashionable the first time round without gender threat associated, my wife's stepfather used to wear white jeans and a white t-shirt to go "To the Disco". He was known as the walking Tampax!

  • White jeans …is the Miami vice look coming back?

  • I'm gonna bite the bullet and purchase a pair. Anyone got a code for free shipping?

  • +1

If you don't want white jeans just wash it with your other jeans and dye the white jeans into a different colour :D

  • Visited Uniqlo Melbourne CBD today - the $9.99 price only applied to the skinny fit jeans.

The slim fit jeans were $19.99. (I purchased anyway).

I'm not sure whether this is the case at all Uniqlo stores. Has anyone purchased $9.99 slim fit?

    • If you look closely at the pic, the first and second column (white label) are $19.99, but the third one (grey label) is $9.99. All of them are slim fit.

      • Were you able to make the purchase for the slim fit? Melbourne wouldn't allow it…

        • Didn't buy cos I couldn't find my size. But should be.

  • true ozb would buy and dye to different color when its no longer white

  • Hmmm, they used Courier Please, such a bummer:(
We three people were at home, I got out to take out the trash and saw this delivery card.

Every time a company uses courier please , I have to drive and pick it up.
