Samsung Galaxy S7 32GB $70/Month | S7 Edge or HTC10 $77/M (7GB Data, Unlim Call/TXT, $300 Int'l) + $100 VISA G/Card @ Virgin Mob

330

Similar to this deal but Virgin are now giving a $100 VISA Gift card on all phone plans until the end of July, the Gear VR from Samsung isn't available anymore however. Not quite as good as the Woolworths Mobile 1 day deal as that was an Edge for $70 and 1GB more data, but you are getting international calls with this Virgin plan which may be better for some.

Plan inclusions:

  • $70/mth (Min. total cost over 24 months is $1680)
  • 7GB included Data
  • UNLIMITED standard & national calls & text
  • $300 standard international calls & text

Both the S7 & S7 Edge are the 32GB version available in black, silver & gold colours.

This still seems to be one of the best value options for those who want the S7, $1680 over 24 months ($1580 after gift card) with 7GB data and unlimited calls + $300 international calls/text & 2 year warranty. If you allow $800 for the cost of the phone which is generous for local stock, it equates to $32.50/month for the phone plan which is excellent.

Other decent value picks included in the $100 VISA gift card promotion: Nexus 6P 32GB $60/month (5GB Data) or HTC 10 32GB $77/month (7GB Data).

  • Probably trying to unload some S7/S7E before the Note 7 comes out?

    • Just seems like desperate selling more so. They've been doing this from the start.

    • +1

Wait what happened to the Note 6?

      • Note 7 coming out in 4 weeks.

      • Apparently they're skipping 6 and going straight to 7 so the Note line is consistent with the S line.

  • These are great plans if you need to call 'unpopular' countries (eg PNG) - few plans give an allowance to call anywhere these days.

    • I agree, booo PNG, boo!!!

  • Also managed to get $5 off per month for 14 months on top of this

    • Um, how?

    • I would love to know how too!!

    • Can you PM me your deal's ref# or your virgin account# please.

edit: I just called them up to see what they can do, got them to give $70 credit on my fist bill. but gearVR :(

  • Did it through live chat and asked for best deal. I think it helped that I already had 2 services with Virginmobile

  • I think its either $70 credit first bill or $5 off for 14 months.
