        WHAT?

So basically if I signed a 24-mth contract with them, I can chip in a sim from another provider into it in no time and it's free to go?

How do they enforce that I stick with them and fulfill my contract then?

        Just being curious.

Your binding contract and destroyed credit rating from not paying will catch up in no time

        • If you are on a plan, the phone is unlocked automatically. They seem to imply that if you buy it prepaid, it will be locked. Would be interested to hear if that's true…..

As for jumping to someone else, yes you absolutely can do that BUT you need to pay off the balance of phone payments to end the original contract.

        • @TightBottom:
Ohh yes of course. This comes way harsher than having a bricked phone.

I bought one from Optus same deal and phone was unlocked.

bloody hell, for this price they could at least be providing 64gb models surely?

    • Exactly. I bought a second hand 16GB for $200. Yes, it's second hand, but still!

  • I know someone who needs/ will only pay $200 for say a 2nd hand iP5. Any suggestions on where to get one other than eBay or gumtree?

  • Yes, will pay more attention.
