    Outthere so I now get 5 gig per 29.90 recharge instead of 2 gig have been using lebara for 18 months do I have to update to new SIM or can use current SIM and number

    Hi save a penny, If you have recharged after 28 May 2016 when the plan was increased to 5GB then you will already have 5GB of data. You do not need a new SIM. If you have a 4G device then you can also use your existing SIM and plan on the 4G network as well.

    Outthere, I switched to Lebara last October and prepaid for 360 days (worked out to $25 pm). If I now recharge on the 180/360 days option will it only add the additional data and 150 international minutes from October onward or can you add that now ? :)

      Hi Oringal, The Lebara voucher from Coles expiry date is 24/6/2022 (yes…nearly 6 years). Note that Lebara recharges "stack", so if you have say 8 days left on your current plan, and if you recharge today, then the new recharge will commence after your current recharge expires in 8 days time.

      Hi Drifta, Try: http://www.lebara.com.au/30-day-plans/national (go to the bottom of the page). The 20% off recharge promotion is exclusive to Coles. Some terminals or self serve checkouts have more than 1 button for Lebara.

      The 20% promo is valid until 19/7 in Coles Supermarkets for both new and existing customers.

    Lebara is now hands down the best deal on the Vodafone network.

    They are in a neck-to-neck race with Amaysim on the Optus network.

    I love it when the free market works well and creates ruthless competition.

    Hi outhere, I'm a bit confused, I always charge online through credit card, month to month. So if I got for the 360 days recharge,I need to go to Coles and ask for an annual recharge lebara voucher? Is that how it works, thanks for your help

      Hi Maxdax, You buy the 360 day iteration online or buy a voucher from any major retailer. The 360 day recharge (equivalent to 12 x $29.90 recharges) costs $300 instead of 12 x $29.90 $358.80 which is a saving of $58.80 (close to 2 x 30 day recharges free).

      Currently Coles has a 20% of all recharges promotion which means the 360day voucher is reduced to $240 which equates to $20 per 30 days.

      I suggest you go into MyLebara and amend your credit card auto top up settings. Then go to Coles and buy the 360 voucher for $240. When you recharge the voucher your existing recharge will still be honoured for the days unused. Hence the 360 days will start automatically after your current 30 day recharge expires.

      Hi dimon baton, No you do not have to activate the SIM before 19/7.

      The promo is 20% off vouchers.The Coles 20% off discount ends on 19/7. But the vouchers are valid for just under 6 years.

      That means you should have plenty of time to use up your credit with your current provider.
