For TV, you won't notice the difference, you're watching a program. For a computer monitor - "ew' is nowhere near strong enough, "blurrghCH" with chunks in it is more apt.

      Thanks. Added some more info

  • VGA?

    • Yes.

      • I think that is the native resolution, isn't it LOL

  • Good match for gaming?

    • problem is that 720p gaming is unsuitable for old pcs and the ps3/xbox360

you're better off waiting for an FHD tv

As I have said with a few simple soniq TV posts recently…
I have the earlier '13' model of this, and it does not pick up the new H264 high Def channels (nor does it play H264/mp4 from a usb stick).

If this is important to you, check the TV can receive those channels.

I bought one of these earlier this year. Returned it a few days later for a refund.

The speakers are terrible. I mean really terrible. You'll need to buy a soundbar or something else to listen to it.

Also it emits a really high pitch noise constantly. One of those noises that once you notice it, you can't stop noticing it. It really hurt my ears. It will be hard to hear in the shop with back ground noise, but once you have it set up at home, you'll hear it.

Also the menu on the tv is pretty poor.

    Just my two cents worth.

    • Thanks for the warning.

So good for the shed then

I think I'd spend the extra $100 and get this one - https://www.jbhifi.com.au/tv-home-entertainment/hd-televisio…
