    Jalna Yogurt 200g $1.14

Very good price for the small tubs, $0.57 per 100g / $5.70 per kg

Best commercially available yogurt IMO - meaning this one Greek Style Natural Yoghurt

Natural, Full Fat and not loaded with sugars!

    • +2

I prefer the farmers union Greek Style natural yoghurt. I believe it's permanent my reduced to $5/kg at both Coles and Woolies

      • +1

Aldi Greek yoghurt is cheaper and no added sugar.

    • -2

      Yoghurt isn't natural.

    • It smells so bad when you open the tub though :S

      • +1

I think you're exaggerating, it really doesn't smell that much or even bad, it's very similar to either sour cream or even milk and not even a strong smell.

You must be deliberately burying your head into it and power-sniffing at it to get that result..

        • "Power-sniffing". Must try this.

I think the 2kg bucket are cheaper at $11 iirc

      • +1

Based on your numbers, you are having to buy something 20 times the size to get it at $5.50 per kg. Just 20 cents per kg cheaper. So thanks for reinforcing this as a good buy, for the small tub our household would not be able to get through 2kg before expiry, or even fit it in the fridge!

The 1kg tub is regularly discounted to $5 (and even recently $4.50)

The point I made was, for the 200g size tub, it's a good price, I didn't say it's the cheapest way to buy this yoghurt.

People often buy the smaller one to take to work etc

        • Less waste. A 2kg bucket wouldn't survive 2 weeks in my house

        • @BargainKen:
What do u use it for?

        • @mmd: eat it. Make tzatziki. Though I rate dodoni over jalna, not cheap but you'll know where that extra money went.

    • I reckon the Gippsland yoghurt is better… Especially that strawberry and watermelon. Yum!

      • Anything full of sugar will be "better" as you put it…

If you are interested in health and eating proper yoghurt, that's not full of sugar…

    • For just eating by its self (not in a recipe) how's this compete with Gippsland Dairy Yogurt?

      • That's a broad term. Do you mean the twist variety? The smooth and creamy? Both of those ranges are full of sugar and do not compare or compete.

The only one I can find that is similar is the organic one, which is still a bit higher in sugar, but I haven't tried it
        http://www.gippslanddairy.com.au/our-products/new-organic-na…

        • I don't know much about yogurt so that's about the comparison I was looking for. Personally not too concerned about sugar (it's more a snack food for me) so it's good enough.

  • Does any one know if the optus starter kits give you $40 credit?

Can I buy a few and use them in any way besides always porting in and out?

    Thanks for the post op.

    • They cannot be used to top up an existing SIM/service, they are only starter kits.

    Thanks for post OP.
Telstra Prepaid 4G Wi-Fi doesn't have a price. In case you want to update.

    • Thanks, updated

    • ohhhhh, sounds good have you got a link to the deal?

    • I though epl streaming is for post paid only? Does it actually work on prepaid?

      • OOpsie, yes you are right. This is only for postpaid

    • is the unlimited international call inclusive for this $40 pack?

      • Yes it is

F&^% me backwards, tuna is on sale? A rare gem in a sea of BS…

    • Tuna is always on sale. Like twice a month.

    • Not sure I've ever paid over $1 can… Usually it's on sale for $0.90.

  • ZTE zip ? Cheaper than a hand grenade, twice as deadly!

Lindt chocolate for $2. As cheap as it usually gets.
