Damn they ran out of the 8gb extreme III cards.
GreatWhiteHunter on 22/05/2010 - 11:50 ¶Hmm SHoppingsquare sell the same class 2 cards on EBAY under the name ApusAuctions. You can get a 16gb standard card for $41 delivered if you are patient. Same seller, just $10 cheaper, but you do have to wait…
Trance N Dance on 22/05/2010 - 18:03 ¶The SanDisk microSDHC 8GB is actually cheaper off ebay, on ebay it comes with free delivery. Although the list price on ShoppingSquare is cheaper by 35 cents, the ebay listing is actually cheaper by 65 cents after the $1 shipping fee is added on ShoppingSquare

There are some good prices on memory cards at r4card, plus you can use use coupon code "24r4s" for a further 24% discount at checkout. Eg: Samsung 8GB SDHC Class6 (equivalent to Sandisk Extreme3) $28.21 after discount with free delivery!

Trance N Dance on 22/05/2010 - 21:57 ¶Wow now that's really damn interesting prices on the Samsung card.
With that coupon the SanDisk 8GB Extreme (30MB/s) SDHC Class 10 Memory Card is also cheaper and in stock.

I know it would be slower than a 3.5" CaviarBlack that I'm using in my comp right now but I'm thinking of trying to improve boot time and battery life in my netbook.
edit:
Hey I just realised that SSD prices are now lower than CF prices haha.

100
Great prices as well!!
