D-Link Wireless 150 Router (DIR-600) for $28 after Cashback

470

Was walking though Harvey Normans and found the DIR-600 for $48 + $20 Cashback.
Don't need one, but for that price it makes for a good spare/backup

Generally around $53 on average, with the cheapest on staticice at $32 at one store
Was going to go to OfficeWorks to pricematch (and save $2) but realised that only HN offers $20 cashback

FYI: I was @ Harvey Normans in Brisbane CBD.

Went back after work.
HN Staff showed me that the special was being advertised in Brisbane's CityLife Mag.
Does not specify that it's limited to a single store.

If anyone wants me to scan and post the ad just ask.
Similarly if anyone wants me to scan and post the receipt.
Won't be able to do it till Sat nite though.

If anyone wants me to buy and post that is also fine but you'll have to cop $10 in pph

  • did harvey norman have any special on the DIR-615?

    • -1

      RTFM above ….

"Get $30 Cash Back When You Purchase DIR-615 From Harvey Norman
For purchase between 21/5/2010 - 6/6/2010 (Conditions Apply)"

BTW great post - would vote just for all the additional info provided above.

      • actually i think u should read his comment carefully
it think he was wondering if HN had a sale on for the 615 and not just the cashback offer

        • Apologies if that was the case … it wasnt worded all that well ….

    • Went to the store and they were sold out of the DIR-615
But they were $130. So I'm still happy with the DIR-600 for $28

      • I went to Nunawading, VIC Harvey Norman store on the next day from this post. They had many DIR 600 on the shelf. But the price was $99. Then I talked to a sales guy and he said the lowest he can go is $80.
Then I mentioned about this post and the sales guy asked me to show it on the internet. Even after showing this he said they don't price match in that store and that's under a different franchise. How you guys get it for that cheap in other HN stores. May be I should go to a different store enext time.

  • Well done collecting all of these

  • Anyone seen the same $48 HN deal going on around Melbourne? It's $77 in the HN catalogue. Just called the Maribyrnong store and the guy there don't know anything about a $48 weekend deal.

    • Sorry. Don't know if it is store special or state-wide special
Store I went to was Brisbane CBD.

Gonna head back on my way home now and check out DIR-615 for xavierdylan
      They had plenty in stock

      • Such a shame. I think it really is a Brisbane CBD store special. The guy I spoke with over here didn't even know the official price is now $77 until he checked the catalogue. Voted + for an awesome deal anyway.

      • Mm i got the same thing, dude I asked at Chirnside Park HN (Victoria) said they had no idea it was cheap, checked the catalogue to find out that it actually was on sale but like these guys said only down to $77 before cashback. I cry.

Still voting + for sweet deal course :D

      • $69 for a north brisbane store - unfortunately looks CBD ONLY
Nice find though, if it wasnt for that, would be a great bargain.

  • do any of these support 300mbps 2t2r AND dd-wrt?

  • Custom firmware available for this revision?

  • for DD-WRT custom firmware
    Dir-300 A1/B1 YES
    Dir-615 C1/C2/D2/E3/E4 YES
    D1 NO

  • BTW -they are so fast with the extras .i posted a claim on the sunday night and recieved my Wireless N150 USB Adapter on wednesday and im in WA .

  • I wouldn't mind knowing if there was one around Melbourne as well, i find it a bit odd how it says N150 router though as that is a different product in itself.

  • What's the range on this thing?

Also I think this is draft N (whatever that signifies lol)

    • Think it just means that this was made before the protocol was standardised, as it implies it's a draft standard, not the accepted one. still faster than G and all that.

  • Adelaide HN D-Link Wireless 150 Router (DIR-600) $100.
voted positivie, but apparently not valid in SA.

  • $57 after cashback in Belmont (WA).

  • i missed out by three days :-(

  • Printed off the photo and got it price matched for $48 at a store in Sydney.
    Original stickered price was $99.95.

  • Bought one at the Martin Place store in Sydney. Advertised in store for $57 but when I approached a sales assistant, they told me it was $48. However, they didn't know anything about the cash back offer but were happy to look it up for me.

    Great post!!

    • I can confirm this deal is still available at the Martin Place store in Sydney! Bought the router today, advertised for $57 but scans at $48…staff seem pretty clueless about this deal, but shouldn't have a problem with the cashback :)

  • MSY has Tenda W311R, it's also Wireless N 150mbps and also support DD-WRT firmware for $33
