Wow - The beautiful sunflower can be shaking when it is under the sun
I'd be amazed if someone gave me this as a gift ๐Ÿ˜ฑ

Plastic & potentially harmfully manufactured (heavy metals & waste) crap bound for landfill - now marketed as also a environment-friendly toy! by adding something "solar".

If it's cheap crap (after all we love cheap crap on OzBargain) - don't hype it as something amazing & environmental when it's not.

Think I'll grow some real ๐ŸŒปsunflowers๐ŸŒป instead. Certainly cheaper per flower & can never stop smiling when I see them growing. (Remember not to chop of an ear though.) Good for the kids as well. Definitely more environment-friendly ๐Ÿ˜€

Landfill, despite its unpopularity, is still a part of our environment.

E by gum lad, where there's muck there's brass (money) ๐Ÿ˜ฏ
A very profitable part of our "environment". And called "home" in some countries.

I don't even think the marketer for the product would believe it's environment-friendly claim๐Ÿ˜€
Won't stop people buying & hopefully enjoying, before ending it's time in landfill.

I'd be pretty chill if I got these as a gift, it's cute.

This toy doesn't look like sunflower at all. The manufacturer should first check what sunflowers look like before naming their toy.

FLOWER that moves in the SUN

      SUN activated FLOWER

      SUN… FLOWER

The manufacturer should first check what sunflowers look like before naming their toy

Sunflowers look nothing like the sun.

bob19, have you bobbed for apples 19 times? Not everything is literal.

      • Then, at least it should've been called sun flower and not sunflower, as sunflower is a proper name.
You are saying that in this case the word sun is used to say that this flower is "sun activated flower" or "flower that moves in the sun". But then what the word SOLAR is for?
        It's like saying "buttery butter".

This toy should've been just called flower solar ornament or solar flower toy, etc.

        • It's Chinese. They use different grammer, syntax and adjective concepts to what we do.

        • @llama: and lumens.

        • @altomic:

Chinese lumens are created in the same place as Chinese mAh, which is next door to where the CE marks are printed.
