      Hi Tuzii

No, that would not be allowed. However, you did just point out something that we missed in the ad and I will fix that up now, thank you.

Also, this offer will expire on the 3rd of September, so even before the correction you'd only have until than.

However, once again, thanks for pointing out our small error in the ad. We will get that fixed now.

      Kind Regards

      Jeremy

The mobile plans look like poor value compared to Aldi.
    e.g. Aldi M plan $20/30 days, 1.5GB, unlim SMS, $75 calls @ 10c/min, additional data = $10/1GB
    Buzz Mini plan $35/month, 1.5GB, unlim SMS, $1000 calls @ $1.20/min, excess data = $30/GB

    • Hi Andrew1879

As you may be aware, the Telecommunications Industry is a very competitive market. There will always be cheaper companies out there as different companies have differentiated buying power and utilise the money they receive in different ways.

Buzz Telco prides itself on our customer service, the quality of our services and that we are 100% Australian owned and operated. As such, as much as we try to keep our prices extremely competitive, we can not always better the prices of all of our competitors. We do hope we can offer our products to you in the future, so that you can see the high level of support and high quality of service that we provide.

If you have any enquiries, please don't hesitate to contact our team on 1800 053 250 or via Live Chat on our website.

      Kind Regards

  • What's adsl speeds like? I live in Parramatta and very close to exchange..

    • Hello Super Bargin

Our ADSL Network is ran to make sure we never exceed 75% capacity during peak times, this allows for influxes in customer count and also for the typical delays getting backbone links upgraded.

Unfortunately, there is a lot of elements that can affect your ADSL Speed and it is hard to give an estimate without more details. However, our team are happy to help by giving you an educated guess if they have either your phone number or address. If you are able to jump on our live chat quickly, on every page on our website, our team will happily give you an estimated internet speed.

What is even better is that if for any reason the service is not to your standard, we offer no contracts so you can up and leave at any time. We introduced our no contract offerings because our customers all say how happy they are with the service and speeds they receive and we decided that there is no point in locking you in when we know that you won't want to leave any way.

But to the point, unfortunately I can't give you an educated estimate without more details, however our team will be happy to either by Live Chat or over the phone.

      Kind Regards

      Jeremy

  • A similar Q was asked in the last thread but i saw no response; What provider/s do you use for NBN backhaul and for international transit, what peering arrangements do you have within australia?

My current provider (of less than a month) is a Vocus RSP and the network is diabolically bad, you seem appealing but there is no info about you around. And great service is wonderful, my current RSP is great to deal with, but i would prefer not to need it and have a great network lol.

    • to put diabolically bad in context - a single stream speedtest to softlayer in CA (who peer directly with vocus, so should be the fastest possible OS option) gave 512kbps/1500kbps mid sunday afternoon - on a 50/20 trained at 100/40

    • Just spoke to Jeremy at Buzz, very knowlegable and friendly. A nice change to speak to someone in AU who knows whats on.
The network for the FTTN is AAPT, owned by TPG but a separate network, using PIPE international (PPC1) among others.
      IPv6 is natively supported.

Mobile plans there is a setup Fee charged on the Extra Small and Small Plans.

  • NBN plans look nice and competitive, few questions though
    Static IP?
    IPv6?
    Bundled Voip like TPG?

  • Is there any set up fee or activation fee for ADSL?
