For those who didn't get a chance to get the last $1 domain deal, here is your chance. Register any new domain (e.g. ozbargainpizzas.com) with godaddy.com for just 99 cents for 1 year (plus $.18 ICANN fee). Buy any domain (ignoring any other promotions on site) and enter the coupon code: INDY2010.

Note: Not valid on renewals, if you want a renewal, try code: gda536ah, $7.66USD/$9.21AUD. 1 per account. Normal price for domains is usually around $8USD ($9.61AUD). No need to purchase hosting or anything else with them. Just the domain. I've personally registered multiple domains for years with Godaddy with no problems. Applies to the first year only of new or transfer registrations.

This offer may not be used for renewals, bulk registrations, premium domains or Sunrise/Landrush domain registrations. Limited to one order per customer. Discount will be reflected in your shopping cart; cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or promotion. Customers may not use gift cards, PayPal® or AliPay to redeem this offer.

Valid for .COM, .US, .MOBI, .BIZ, .NET, .ORG, .CA, .CO.UK and .IN domains.

Notes from the last deal:
It's easy to transfer your domain to another registrar.
They will auto renew your domain, so you can uncheck this if you don't want it. They remind you 90 days and 4 days before they auto-renew your domain.
Can't pay with Paypal.
Does not come with private whois, that costs $12USD extra.
Additional codes can be found at Retailmenot

Via Slickdeals forum (USA's OZbargain).

  • Done - Thanks for the heads up. I was waiting for this, $1.17 AU.

  • great deal! mine was 1.40AUD

  • Cheap web hosting anyone?

  • Got one. Thanks. Unsuccessfully tried another, just to make sure it's only limited to 1.

  • Just purchased a domain name and set my self up with Google Apps for business's. Awesome :D

    • How much does Google Apps cost ?

      • Its free if you only need up to 50 users.

Won't neg it because it is cheap but godaddy has to be the most frustrating domain registration service ever..

I know aye. Every time you hit a button on their site something will pop up trying to make you buy more stuff.

Yeah they are bad (moved all my domains to Name.com last year), but they are far from the worst :)

      • I love Name.com! One of the best registrars, IMO. I've got about 25 domains there :)

Too bad their hidden whois isn't free any more :(

  • Cheap domains, but AU$12.03 for domain privacy?! If you want a domain with whois privacy (as a lot of people do), the price is higher than most other registrars, even with this offer.

    • Roll your own privacy :)

      • Have a dedicated email address just for domain registration
      • Have some "creativity" when you fill out the address and phone number :)
