$179 New 3DS Console with Animal Crossing Happy Home @ Target Kotara NSW

150

Was in Target Kotara NSW late this arvo, and saw 12+ of these bundles for clearance. Sign said was $199 in May 2016. In glass cabinet facing back of the store. Funnily enough, does not come with a power cord (as stated on box), but my old DSi cord works. Target sell those cords/AC for $12 or can be found much cheaper (I just got the cord on ebay for under $5).

Now to read up on the best way (ie safest and easiest) to CFW… Info overload - happy for advice!

  • Thanks op. Did they have any 3DS games on special?

At Broadmeadows/Craigieburn Target they have Inazuma Eleven Go Light/Shadow for $10 each. Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate $30 Xenoblade Chronicles 3DS $40 Fantasy Life 3DS $30. I also snatched the last New 3DS XL Animal Crossing HHD Edition for $199. I believe these prices are country wide. And if you are very lucky (like me) you will find some old NDS game on clearance for $5 each. In my case it was a Pokemon White 2

  • Didn't see any games on sale, but if I had time I would have went to EB downstairs and checked out https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/261209

For those interested, the firmware 'out of the box' is 9.9.0-26e

  • What's the retail on these? Pretty sure I paid less than that for my new 3dsxl earlier this year. Maybe I'm wrong.

    • Record low for new 3dsxl was $189 from memory with ebay promo code at Target ebay and Home designer new 3dsxl bundle $199 at Target. So this is good deal if you dont want XL.

      • Just hunted for my receipt, got it from JB HiFi for $168 - says price match Target, but I don't remember them doing anything at that price for a new XL.

  • So its cheaper to get this one than a non-themed New 3ds, interesting. I checked the target site and they don't even list non-XL 3ds's anymore, there seems to be a distinct lack of non XL 3ds's for sale on all other online stores too.
