  • How good is the headphone ? Anyone own it ?

Very tinny noise, lacks bass. Also a bit heavy and the 'volume control' is just a sliding resistor, not an actual button control like SOL or SKULLCANDY. Wouldn't buy again, even for this price

    • I had a similiar pair of TDKs a few years back. Initial listen wasn't great but after a while I guess it eventually burnt in the audio became comfortable enough to be just ok.

  • Got one for the kids. Thanks Spackbace.

  • 390g, that's heavy, man. Not for traveling then.

    • That's most likely the parcel weight. It also says the product dimensions are 236W x 105D x 236H mm

      • Yeah but how much will deducting the cardboard reduce that figure?

        • i'll report it when i get it :)

        • 162 grams :)

        • @rickyygee: Thanks. I wish I still had a working Panasonic noise cancelling earphone. Weighed almost nothing in my shirt pocket.

        • @greenpossum:
They should get working on making good drivers lighter!

  • Thanks got 3 for the kids. Always losing and breaking them.

  • What is the recommended burn-in time for these?

  • Terrible sound. Terrible non-movable earcups. Clamping force on the head. I wouldn't torture myself. Long gone are the real TDK, who used to be quality kings but have long since sold their brand. These are only good for electronic parts, in my opinion.

It really doesn't surprise me that they can't get rid of these.

I have bought 5 for gifts.. Really big packaging.. Which is good as they might think it was really expensive..

      Yes, these are really bad.
