17% off MUHLE R101 and MUHLE R107 $51.00 each + Free Shipping @ Shave Rave

110

Running a pretty big discount on these to clear up some excess stock.

$51.00 each Shipped. Were $62 each.

These are two beautiful razors. R101 is open comb and R107 is closed comb. R101 is more suitable for those with a course growth and like an agressive shave. R107 will also give you a nice close shave but is gentler on the skin than the R101 and suitable for those who like a softer shave or those with sensitive skin.

I've decided just to drop the prices so you don't have to fuss around with a code. Prices will stick until Midnight on Sunday.

Also, if you would like to help me out in building the store, would love to hear if anybody would be interested in Truefitt & Hill shaving products at affordable prices. Let me know in the comments, any input would be appreciated.

I will be sitting in the comments if you have any questions.

Happy Shaving!

17% off retail. I already lowered the price for a while to clear. I reduced the price down again today.

      Deal is $51

I'm trying to offer people a good deal on a razor that is between 60 - 69 elsewhere.

I'll offer you $12 for one.

DE Razors are the shit, got one 5 years ago and never turned back, on holidays I used a disposable and got ingrown hairs :(

Honestly, I've consistently delivered great deals on ozbargain, have provided many people with advice and offered discounts in the comments section to people who are after something else.

I don't see why you have to comment on every second post I put up when you clearly have no intention of buying or participating in the deal. Rather you seem to get some sort of strange kicks by giving merchants a hard time.

My deals are solid, and on the occasions where I have been beaten by another competitor, I have rectified the deal to match.

Yes, it was $62, yes I reduced it down to 58 and yes it now 51.

I don't have to offer deals, my prices are generally the cheapest in the industry and I consistently deliver on that. But I choose to do it. This business is a passion of mine, I enjoy these products and I enjoy introducing them to other people. In general I believe that the prices on the industry are overpriced and I decided to fix that.

      It's a deal, and it's a good deal.

You're deals have always offered the best prices out there, please keep them up.

        • Thanks OzBragain. Appreciate it.

I'm confused about what youre asking here. Is it a general call for current and interested customers of truefitt ans Hill products?

    • Just after some feedback on wether you like the products or not, if you like them but think they're over priced etc. and if you would be interested in me stocking it at affordable prices.

Awesome deal! What's the feel difference between the R101's black resin handle and the R41's seemingly patterned handle? Which one would be a better grip for people with butter fingers?

    • R101 is a smooth handle. Very smooth, but it's not overly glossy so I have never found grip to be a massive problem. R41 is definitely the best grip though, if you're really butter fingered, the 10% grip you get on a textured handle may come in handy!

Thanks OP, I got myself a R107. This will be my first foray into the DE razor scene. Appreciate your deals/transparency.

    • Thank you, appreciate it. I hope you love your new razor!

  • Windupclock, any chance of expanding by stocking the Ikon X3 + Bulldog handle? Also super keen on Stirling 'Executive Man' Soap and Aftershave/balm!

  • OP just checking
I use an elcheapo plastic razor
what difference should I expect with the R101/ R41 ?
from the pictures the R101 looks better as it has a bit of contrast

    • Very similar cutting head, if not identical. Main difference is the handle weight and grip. R101 is much lighter but still well balanced. R41 is heavier, better balanced and has a textured grip.

I use the r101 as a travel razor and also to experiment with different blades. It's a great razor

      • Sorry OP
        I guess I didn't make myself clear
I use a cheap plastic razor and it gets the job done, ie I can shave

If I use eg the R101,I'm assuming I will have a better shaving experience
I was trying to ask what difference should I expect withe the R101 when compared to my cheap plastic razor.

  • Hi OP, what's the difference between R107 and R89? Which would you recommend for a beginner?

    • +1

Both great choices for beginning. Cutting head is the same. Same closed comb construction l, difference is in the resin vs metal handle. You get more weight and grip from a r89 but r107 is lighter and more affordable. You can't go wrong with either. But r107 is a nice introduction.

      • thanks for clarifying :)

  • Hi OP, quick question please. In comparison to the old Schick quatro cartridges, how long do the blades for these things last? Sorry if this is a dumb question, I've never used one of these before.

By the way, I tried the layrite pomade recently and am quite impressed.

    • Depends on the blade brand to be honest. On average, I would expect each blade to last 3 days, even more if you've got a light growth. There is 10 in a pack. So pretty cheap.

      Layrite is awesome!

      • Thanks. Might order one shortly!
