    skyscanner

  • Jetstar sometimes has MEL to BKK on sale for under $200 one way. And they do direct flights on their Dreamliner.

If your dates are flexible then wait for a sale from Jetstar or AirAsia. That's how you can get the cheapest possible price.

Also, there are two airlines that fly direct from Ko Samui direct to KL and Singapore, so that could work out cheaper if you don't need to stop in Bangkok twice.

  • I used to love Skyscanner but now I use Google Flights. Great way to track prices, get alerts via e-mail and Android. Search up to five airports at a time. Explore from one destination etc etc

    • I don't think Google flights indexes as many airlines as Skyscanner. Also, Skyscanner looks for deals across a range of different booking sites, many of which are cheaper than booking via the airline itself.

However Google flights does have an excellent search interface. Especially when you click in the date box and look at the price chart.

  • Skyscanner

    Kayak

  • cheapflights.com.au

whatever site you use to search but always search on private browsing

  • I like Rome2Rio because of the visualisation of the flight paths.
