    $24.50

  • Tell em' what it's worth son

  • $24.50 save $10 from the looks of it

  • Seems like a lot of effort to call each store to see if it's in stock.

    • masters don't pick up their phones anymore.

you will need to visit each store for stock :) … much more effective.

Master's still haven't learned from their failures in customer service, even in their final days.

      • I might pass then. I'll do my fortnightly drop in as I drive past the one store close to the city and see what has been "reduced to clear" on friday methinks.

          save your time.

anything worth buying is only 10% off.

anything with a large % off - 20-40% is usually just crap.

I use to visit Masters at least once per week before all of this 'closing down' sale crap, now I don't even bother. The real sales they had before were decent… these 'clearance' scales are a scam.

        • @faceman54: Yeah. Even with the 10% I still made my last purchase at Bunnings as it was cheaper (for a branded product). Plus I can't be bothered with trying to work out a warranty 2 years down the track.

        • @faceman54:
Noticed today a few things I'm watching have now gone from 10% to 15 and 20% off, still not at a price I'm interested in buying at

  • FYI I tried to return an item to Masters and it has been refused as "the liquidator forbids us to do it".
I had receipt and the item was untouched, in the original package.

    • What was your reason for returning? Change of mind? That's no longer accepted for purchases since the end of August.

      • Bought it as a gift and found out that the recipient already bought one.
I guess that qualifies as a change of mind…
I then suggested to exchange it for something more expensive with difference but was not accepted.

So I am stuck with a tool I cannot use (it is an air tool).

Not the end of the world but be aware…

    • This is the norm.

We will no longer allow return or exchange where you have simply changed your mind, for products purchased on or after August 30, 2016. This change is consistent with our obligations under the Australian Consumer Law.

      • Hmm how bout products purchased before that date?

I did a swap after Aug 30 for a product purchases before Aug 30. They even did a price override on the replacement because it was just a swap for a different variant of the same paint and I'd originally purchased it half price.
