If the PSN store prices weren't so crazy, this would actually be a fantastic deal to people who don't have the original :(

    • The PSN store simply has new games at the full RRP set by the publisher, much like EB Games.

    I have a copy on order from Ozgameshop for $45 ($55 minus $10 voucher). I think I'm good. :)

    • When did you purchase it? They are like $66 currently

      • That's odd. They've removed the copy I preordered from their website. The one I had was $57 (Sorry I got the price wrong… :P). If I go into my order and click the link it brings up an error. I might message them to make sure nothing's gone wrong…

So they're going to give you a copy of a game you will play for 5 minutes before going back to TROTTR.

  • Price of the game you have to buy in title please

$84.95 for a game that came out on Xbox One a year ago. Bargain!

    • But with all the DLC's.

Even so, the Xbox One version (without DLC) is $29 at JB Hifi right now.

I'm sure the most eager of Tomb Raider fans can justify paying $85 for this game on PS4, which is exactly why they've set this price point. But I think that taking Microsoft's exclusivity deal, delaying the launch of the game on PS4 for a year, then bundling in 2-3 hours of extra DLC content and selling the game for full price is really greasy.

The price is probably worth it to those who are desperate to play the game in the next few months, but a bargain this is not.

Pure speculation on my part here, but with all the strong releases coming out soon, I wouldn't be at all surprised to see this game selling for <$50 after christmas.

        • When it will be released the price might not be this high for physical copy, i m hoping…

        • No, it isn't a bargain. SE have already bitten one hand that fed the TR franchise, time will tell whether they can do enough to rectify the situation. What a change this release made, taking away a title from a launching platform. Interesting, from a business decision perspective anyway.

You can already get the price below or around $60 (depending on final conversion, I haven't put it through the cart to see what it comes out at) for a physical copy, you just have to wait a while for it to come in.

    • 85 is ridiculous for a year old game. Especially considering it's 29 anywhere on Xbone, it's been given away in a billion Xbox console promotion things, and it's a bloody year old.

275 got me my Xbox One brand new, with this, Minecraft, and the Lego Movie. Take the last two away, trade them in or whatever, you'll get at least 20 bucks, more if you sell elsewhere. So that's 255 for a brand new console, and the game. Somehow, I doubt Tomb Raider is worth around a third of that bundle.
