HN only sells the black version of these models, and it's the iOS version, but the play/pause/skip/answer button will still work on Android, just not the volume controls. The reviews have been pretty good, especially if it suits what sound/quality you're looking for in a pair of portable headphones.

Notice how quickly the price is dropping on a number of the Wired headphones - especially iOS specific ones after the iPhone 7 has come out. hehe

    • Haha true

    • Thanks for bringing that to my attention. I found some headphones on Amazon and the ios version were $US70 cheaper. I thought they would be more popular to resell so almost pulled the trigger. I'm not an apple user personally so it didn't click that the iPhone 7 doesn't have a 3.5 Jack.

These are by far my top choice for over ear headphones. Go for the XL version, wont regret!

+1. I've got the XL Wireless and they're awesome.

I bought the XL from the last Bing Lee deal - they're fantastic at $198, definitely not worth the original price tag of $450 on launch.

      • Yeah, I paid around $230 for the wireless a while back. Wouldn't have paid the $499 for them (they're probably worth it, but I don't buy things that aren't on special :) ).

        • A fine pair of headphones. Got 1 myself during the cash back offer plus I had some Harvey gift cards to use.

  • I've got the Momentum 2.0 over ear. So much better. Tried Urbanite in store, and I was disappointed.

    • I concur. Got the Urbanite XL from the Bing Lee deal. They're good cans, but not as good as I expected.

    • Same I have the momentum over ear and they are great ….. Now 50% off momentum over ears would get me interested. They sometimes do the on ears but they don't sound as good or are as comfortable.

  • Had the urbanite XL Wireless and they were great, but got some QC35's and couldn't justify keeping both so sold the Urbanite Xl Wireless ones.

    • So the QC35 have better sound quality?

    • Can't decide between QC35 and Urbanite XL Wireless…
Do I need to get both? :)

    • I'm looking at getting some QC35's too.

Originally I was deciding between the Urbanite XL Wireless and the Bose SoundLink around ear wireless. I wanted a more bass heavy headphone so I went with the Urbanite.

What are the QC35's like in regards to bass?

Urbanites have more bass but I didn't find the ear cups comfortable for more than 30 mins. Qc 35 are good because you can have the volume much lower with the nc in noisy environments, rather than having to blast the sound on the urbanites

        • Sweet, thanks mate. Think I'll pick up a pair of QC35's. Will be good to have a bit of variety in headphones :)

        • Thanks for the feedback. I'll stick with my QC 35s :)

If you want more bass, you can check out the Sony H.Ear Wireless (MDR100ABN). According to this comparison video, the QC35 does wireless and ANC better than Sony, while Sony sounded better: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3fX4uysXN7E
