Best Way to Send Money to UK - 5k

Hi

I would like to know what would be the best way to send money to uk.

there is western union which charges 30$ fee to send. Today's exchange rate for sending money overseas is 1 AUD = 0.5695 GBP

Anz bank if sent via Internet banking charges 18$. It also says subject to other charges (commissions, fees or charges) applied by the overseas bank. exchange rate today is 1 AUD = 0.5689 GBP.

Do you guys know any other options that can be used which would cost less in Fees and provide a decent exchange rate.

      their exchange rates are already better than WU and ANZ.

      Do you have an account with ozforex ? they are offering 50$ ITunes card if you refer someone who completes a Intl transaction.

        never used ozforex but used the equivalent UKforex.
        You might want to check the referrals page on Ozb and make some unsuspecting OZb happy!

    Have you tried TransferWise? First transaction is free through referral, normally $2AUD. I can send you a referral link, just message me. I sent money with them overseas and the exchange was basically the same to xe.com.

    Transfer for free from a Citibank Plus Transaction account and rates are competitive.

    Good option if doing ongoing transactions.
