160

This offer popped up in my AMEX offers of my AMEX Explorer card. Spend $30 in a Woolworths store or Woolworths online and get $15 back. I believe this is a targeted offer but I'm not sure. Offer is for first 5000 cards that will save the offer. Here are offer description from AMEX website:

    • me too :((

      • I thought I was the only guy with an Amex gold? They don't seem to exist outside of professional associations.

  • Op,please post the link to website.

    • Sorry, I don't have a manual link. If you log into your AMEX account online through www.americanexpress.com/australia and check your offers, you'll see it if it's available on your cards.

It's a welcome deal, for new Amex cards.

That could make sense, although my card is already over a month old and I've already received one statement.

      • Offers were not appearing for the explorer card at all until now. You could still add offers in manually though.

    • Confirmed. Got same with my new essentials card a few months ago.

  • It is an ongoing offer for new AmEx cardholders.

I got this when I signed up for my card, so saying welcome gives it away that it is for new card holders I think

    • I think the same way.

  • I got it a few days ago. And also spend $100 online and get $20 deal. Wondering if I can combine with the cashrewards wws new customer $20 back deal? Apparently I missed the $32 back wich ended this morning :(.

    • +1

you're in a better situation mate, I missed both cashrewards cashback and Amex cashback :(

  • +1

Be careful. Woolworths will play the out of stock game and you will not be qualified for cashback.

    • That's what I thought. And I don't know what to buy to make it $100 last week so I just ignore the $32 back. I'm still in the spend $80 for 4 weeks n get 12000 point game so I definitely will think of something to buy next week.
