  • Hmmm i may grab one as a backup phone. Any link to buy or a catalog page for price matching at OW?

  • I have a feeling there will be a flood of J1's on the 2nd hand market soon, I know Telstra was giving them out to customers with a Note 7 I'd they wanted a replacement (before the full recall was done)

    • Those are J1 Minis

  • Is the Samsung unlocked?

  • What's the Samsung like compared against a S5?

    • It runs like dragging your feet through molasses compared to the S5. But then…for 1/3rd or so of the price, can't complain…

  • The J1 specs just looks awful, especially with TouchWiz on top of it.

The only thing that Samsung low/mid range had was their brand name. Now that Note 7 have burnt that to the ground. Why bother?

  • +1

stay away from anything that as 8GB internal storage.. the moment you have Facebook and few apps it will say memory full even if you have a SD card as some apps cannot be moved. ITS 2016 PEOPLE STOP MAKING 8BG internal memory!!!! A 16GB SD card is 10$ so dont tell me you cant put some decent onboard storage SAMSUNG

  • It should be a criminal offense to release a phone with 8GB memory and a stone-age A7 processor in 2016 and to ask $130 for it.

    • I think the main reason it's high is for the Amoled screen

  • Is this active now? I want to buy the phone for my mums bday tomorrow

    • should be all of it should be in their catalogue online
