I wish Petbarn would roll out their click and collect Australia wide so these coupons do actually have some use when its not free shipping included…

    • Agree. Useless messages such Your order is not available for collection from one of our stores has got to go.

just wondering how many times I have seen petbarn doing 20% off online… i lost count.

  • Yup, need a dog bed next week. $11 shipping lowers the effective discount to 10%. Not worth my trouble.

Every time you raise the price by 20℅ and then post a deal here. I am not sure how you get away with it. Your interceptor spectrum for medium dogs is more expensive even after 20℅ discount.

    How is this allowed?
Last week I paid $98.39 for the Advance puppy plus 15kg.
No discount, just the regular advertised price.
Today, with 20% off the price is… $98.39.

I know others have stated it here but they literally add 20% to the everyday price and then take it off again.
I am surprised such a cynical technique is legal.

Not sure if I'm allowed to do this but since I discovered these guys I'll never go Petbarn again…

      https://www.vetsupply.com.au/search.aspx?search=advance%20pu…

Even with PB's perpetual 'sales', it's such a substantial markup.

      • Thanks for the link, i'll keep an eye on them.
The problem I have is that despite my best efforts, I struggle to find cheaper than Petbarn in Tasmania.
When they have free delivery I stock up and the delivery charges rule out just about everyone else.

Just checked Petcircle - dog food is cheaper but shipping is $20.95, dealbreaker.
        Welcome to island living.

  • I just recently got a puppy so completely new to all this. I see everyone complaining about Petbarn saying it's more expensive even with the discount. I was just wondering what company or where I should buy my pet related items?

    • Petcircle or vetsupply. Petbarn is a ripoff! The company is listed on the stock exchange and trades and called GreenCross. They are only interested in making profits at expense of people who dont know cheaper and better options exist!

    • Try using 99petshops (http://99petshops.com.au/) to compare prices. Sometimes it's best to check up the individual sites for up-to-date prices, but it's a good baseline and you can get links to a variety of shops.

Congrats on your new puppy, by the way! :) I get some basic non-food puppy stuff from KMart (and sometimes Target) and Reject Shop for fairly cheap. For food, just look out for deals/compare different sites.

My Pet Warehouse has Temptation cat treats for $3.99 plus free delivery over $49.00. And Pet Barn has them for $5.99 and charges delivery. What a difference.
