    When they post the fitbit deal, I was thinking whether I really need it and whether it was a really good bargain. Then I did a little googling and came back to the website, still available, checkout, entering the CC info, bang! OUT OF STOCK! Feeling I have saved $108.5 !

          Of course in reality, people will just enter in any random email address and enter the site, while those who complain will just miss out on possible deals.

          @theguyrules: That's how these sales work, and that's why they put the tickbox on their webpage telling you to expect things to sell out quick.

          Regardless of stock levels though, they do have lots and lots of customers, so it's inevitable that hot items will sell out fast. Even if they had 200 pairs of QC35s, which is a respectable stock amount, at that price I bet they'd sell out in a few minutes. There are probably thousands of people around the country after a pair, wouldn't you agree?

    It seems like I ploy to get loads of people on the website, hanging around for the day before eventually giving in and buying the tuna so at least they got a deal. Then they have a bunch of traffic, loads of people subscribed to emails, and all for 6 QC35's that they probably bought during the eBay $100 deal.
