Freebie is pretty straight forward, $25 for free when you sign up. Once you get 60 trader points (you get them by trading) you can cash out straight to your bank account or moneybookers etc. I got mine up to $75 then lost it all. Deposited $50, got that to $300 then cashed out through moneybookers.

Have a bit of fun with it, it is after all $25 for free.

Instructions:

  1. Download the Plus500 trading software
  2. Click on ‘Real Money’
  3. A New Account window will open. Enter your new account details and click 'Submit'
  4. In the drop down menu at the top of the page, click on ‘Account’ -> ‘Validate Phone'
  5. Enter your personal details and click 'ok'
  6. Enter your mobile number WITHOUT the country code and click on 'Send me a SMS'
  7. You will receive a 3 digit code via an SMS message. Enter this code in the '3 digit code' field
  8. $25 will be added to your account and you can start trading

Don't worry about the SMS bit, it's so they can try stop multiple accounts, they don't spam you, only ever received one text from them saying my withdrawal has gone through.

    Future kids and Rifter: no idea what is going on. I'm with iinet in Perth and it works.

      http://www.plus500.com leads to "The site is not available from Australia". However, I can see the google cache version of the page. And, have found some links that are accessible. Most useful is https://trade.plus500.com/ which is accessible from Australia.

    I have to say it looks good! Always wanted to go into CFDs. Everything I've seen so far still needs me to put in $2.00! Will go long on the SPI tomorrow and just hold for a month or two and make 400 points lol.

    Seems like every google result for this site says its a scam. Could be legit, but I don't feel like risking it. Anyone else post back if they have success actually withdrawing from here :P

      What are you risking? I mean what could you possibly lose? You're not signing up your mobile/email to spam, you can check the T&C.

      And if you check wazza23 has already posted proof of payment.

      If you read those forums where people think it's a scam, it is later clarified that it is not a scam and is genuine. As I said, I am not a hardcore or professional trader by any stretch of the imagination, just saw the free $25, gave it a go, cashed out and was happy.

      You're not risking very much to be honest….but each to their own I guess

    I'm with mcruzier on this one. Reviews on google does point to this being fishy

    How do they pay you the money? Bank transfer? Wouldn't they have my bank details?

      you choose how you want it paid out…I chose moneybookers and got it transferred there. I think there's a bank transfer option and send out a cheque option too I recall?

      i found amazon.com can be traded! As well as lloyds and citibank!!

      Once you make $3 or so just trade indicies!!

    yeah it was a bit hard at first with that $25, I think from memory I traded the min amount of oil and a few currencies were within budget. I got lucky with them and then had more to play with.
