They are blue when cold, and silver when at the right heat for cooking with a rubber handle. These guys are dropping them out at ~ 1/2 hardly's price.

It changes to white when it is hot and back to blue when it is cool. I guess it would be permanent if you never take it off the stove lol (NOT RECOMMENDED!)
