I haven't played the expansion, but the base game was quite fun!

      I really think they monitor links from here, the expansion pack didnt change price. Like last time, the price came back down after a few hours.

    This game is a little similar to catan but much simpler and shorter gameplay. I.e more wins!

    If you liked Catan, you'll love Machi Koro.

    The game play is very similar but instead of building towns and roads, you buy businesses. Roll dice and if your businesses have those numbers you make money. The biggest difference is the game changes complexity into the later game and you can directly cause more trouble for your opponents through card combinations.

    It's also a game that offers lots of replay by what businesses are added in.
