Free EZ lock starter kit for EXISTING Dremel owners

130

Do a questionnaire and get a free dremel EZ lock starter kit.

My first submission.

Trimmed copy-paste from the site (http://www.dremel.com/en-au/Pages/default.aspx):

To receive your Free Dremel EZ Lock Starter Kit please complete the questionnaire about you and your Dremel product.

This Free offer is only available to the first 1500 applicants. Please allow 35 days for delivery of your EZ Lock Starter Kit.

MOD: just a note this is for existing dremel owners. There isn't really a point getting it if you do not have a dremel tool, and companies in the past have not uphold their agreement if they get thousands of ozbargainers applying for the sake of it. The limit in the T&Cs is for the first 1500 customers

  • u know whats in the pkit?
    looks like a drill bit

  • NOTE - you need to say that you purchased a dremel tool in order to enter this: this should be in the title & description

  • And "The Promotion commences 12:00am AEST on 1/05/10".
I would say this is pretty much a competition only.

    • i believe you are entered in a competition to win $10,000, but the tool kit is posted regardless

      • And the OP mentioned "This Free offer is only available to the first 1500 applicants."

  • looks like quick release clamp and cutting discs, my dremel is more hi speed than torque, is it effective?

  • Google 'Dremel Barcode' if you don't actually have the product. Worked for me.

    • Thanks for the tip! :)

    • dude, this is an attachment for the dremel…. if you dont have one can I ask why you went through it all? do you have another cutting machine or something that you want to use this with, or have just completed the registration because there's a freebie?

this is the starter kit: http://www.dremel.com/en-au/AttachmentsAndAccessories/Pages/…

for those people who ACTUALLY HAVE a Dremel, you'll know that the interchangable blades are attached with a little screw at the end. this starter pack includes a new mount, and 5 'easy on easy off' blades… replacing the old screw mount.

and for those that dont have a dremel…. go get one, they are awesome!!!

      • My Dad has one…cheers.

  • Cheers OP.

  • Thanks OP.

These EZ lock kits are OUTSTANDING… bought one last year along with the special tile blade (EZ545 EZ) to cut a tile in the bathroom which was too long and stopping me from unscrewing the tap and getting to the washer inside. Cut through it like butter when no other cutting tool would. Worth the ~$50 I paid for the blade and lock kit simply because it saved having to call somebody out which would have been more expensive and I still have the blade to cut other stuff.

  • This looks quite useful really. The cut off discs are very fragile and explode and/or wear quite quickly, usually because you are cutting something in an awkward spot/position (why else would you be using a Dremmel). So that means having to replace discs a few times per job, which is a pain. Hopefully this will mean super fast disc changes, though I'm not sure I'd pay actual money for it, so hopefully the freebie comes through.

  • Thanks op. It was a shame the site did not ask me way my dremel suxs with it's power switch that keeps shitting itself. The superworks knockoff I got from supercheap has outlasted my dremel !!. And only for $30

I love my dremel, but this was a loooong questionnaire. it really ticks me off when they get into stuff that is not related to what they do just for marketing purposes.
Surprised they didn't ask me how many times i go to the toilet a day :-p

  • I'm having a fail moment - Can't find the link to the survey.
Can someone please oblige and tell me what/where the link is?

  • Got mine today, nice freebie. They are shipping out of Bosch HQ, which is just down the road from me, so keep an eye out in your letterbox.

  • Received mine today. Thanks OP.

  • Just received mine last week. Stoked! I saw this same kit in Bunnings on the weekend for $50!
