    Plus the $400 shipping fee

  • +22

Sounds like a competition instead of an actual bargain.

    • +9

A George Agdgdgwngo type of competition.

      • +3

Goooooood morning Lizard Spock! You have won a cash prize! All I required is your bank account number and sort code, and I will wire you the monies directly!

  • +2

55" Samsung Smart TV for $10, PS4 for $4?. Surely that's got to be a misprint or some thing dodgy going on?.

    • +6

      2 units in stock

    • +2

      really? and anyone will believe?

    • +8

Yeah "misprint" … when is someone going to go to jail for this crap? It's standard operating procedure for businesses in Australia to conduct criminal activities like this.

  • +5

    Click bait

  • +2

Competition? Insufficient quantity at the very least.

  • +29

I'm a bargain hunter, not treasure hunter

    • Luckily or thankfully. I am both.

  • +2

    Treasure hunts are not bargains.

  • -1

    Store in title

  • +1

    Lul

  • +3

No idea why someone would post this

  • +5

    bait and switch frenzy

  • Scam

  • +5

Yeah and it makes you subscribe to be able to access it. They must be phishing for peoples details. Probably selling off your information to third parties.

    • +7

      Probably?

      • +1

        Are.

      • Thats why you need to have a fake email account

  • +2

Click frenzy? More like click bait.

  • +1

and the server will melt.. just like census…

  • +2

Hitler wasn't happy with Click Frenzy last time….

    • +1

Going to go absolutely beserk this time!.

    • +1

That was great… But no comment on jv. How can you mention OzBargain and not jv??

  • +1

No bargain to be had here. Just false promises.

  • Should we start a class-action now?

  • +3

Joined that click frenzy bullshit 2 years ago and all I get is spam emails.

    • +1

Yeah because they sold your details such as name and email address to a bunch of third parties.

  • This post has moved to forum. See our Click Frenzy forum discussions in 2015, 2014 and 2013.

  • +1

I don't get this what am I looking at?

Lotto? Spin the wheel? Raffle? Auction? What? Haha lol?

Can someone explain like I am five but not a retard?

    • +1

I would like some explanation as well, why I have not heard about it in the past 4 years I am in Australia?

  • +1

    From the email:

    Here's how it'll work:

When you get your email from Click Frenzy kicking off the event on Tuesday November 15, it will have clues telling you when and where these extremely good offers will appear on the Click Frenzy website, so make sure you are poised, ready and armed with your credit card because with prices like these, they won't last long!

Good luck - you are going to find so many great bargains from Tuesday through to Wednesday, and that's thanks for being a Click Frenzy subscriber.

    • +2

Ahahahaha 'great bargains', I'll believe it when I see it.

    • +1

So it's a timed scavenger hunt? Oh okay cool I'll be down for that if it gets me some really good deals tbh it's really no different than what I am currently doing atm anyways.

  • +1

    Bait frenzy

  • +1

We've added a full list of stores on the OzBargain Click Frenzy Page in anticipation of tomorrow's Click Frenzy event. Technically it starts at 7pm but expect most deals to be posted before that; from midnight onwards for official Click Frenzy participants.

  • +23

We are dipping our toe in to see how it goes. It costs a bit of money (couple of thousand dollars) to advertise on Click Frenzy and (to be honest) I don't think I'll see a return on my money, but you gotta try these things. We'll actually make a loss on some cheaper items but hope the more expensive items will cover the losses. But still I have to sell a lot of laptops (about 100-150) to recoup the advertising cost. And if they are all the cheaper laptops (with a profit loss) then I'm screwed.
I might find that it's simply better to just post bargains here on OzBargain. I know it's much cheaper here :) Free!

    Anyway, my pre-ClickFrenzy 2 cents.

I probably should update you all when it's over.

    Kris

    • +13

Yes that's one reason why we are running the OzBargain10 celebration sale event this year. We might not have big marketing budget nor graced by any mass media outlet, but at least posting deals here is mostly free.

In fact why restrict your best deals to once a year? At OzBargain everyday is a sale day!

      • +2

        Nice segway.
Yes we'll definitely be in for this also.

Hey can I ask, can I add my deals to this page?
        https://www.ozbargain.com.au/pages/click-frenzy

Are store owners allowed to post their own Click Frenzy deals on OzBargain?

        Cheers
        Kris

        • +1

Tag your deal "Click Frenzy" and the deals on that page are mostly sorted by votes, and expired deals get pushed down the list. Yes store reps can post their own deals tagged Click Frenzy.

  • +4

Am the only one who can't find anything to buy with all these sales? There just isn't anything I want or need, I feel all gummed up, I need a bargain release.

    • +2

You've burned yourself out if you can't impulse buy on OZB!

    • +2

There is not really any mind blowing deals IMO. Clothes are at the prices they should be at all times and there is also a lot of junk/unnecessary items. The New Balance 50% deal is good though if you need quality shoes, but that is not even a Click Frenzy deal.

  • +7

In small print down the bottom of the page

Must own a 10 gigabit fibre connection to get $10 tv
Sell your soul for $4 ps4

  • +1

So which store is running this deal? It just sounds too good to be true - even if it is there'll probably be 1-2 max in stock.

It says subscribers only, but how do we subscribe?

    • +1

      Join here: https://www.clickfrenzy.com.au/subscribe/

Click Frenzy themselves are actually offering the cheap goods.

You'll receive an email that states:

"You're probably wondering how to get your fast-clicking digits on some of the unbelievable Go Wild treasure hunt offers from November 15, like a Samsung 55" Smart TV at $10, a PlayStation 4 at $3, and more like that at insane prices.

      Here's how it'll work:

When you get your email from Click Frenzy kicking off the event on Tuesday November 15, it will have clues telling you when and where these extremely good offers will appear on the Click Frenzy website, so make sure you are poised, ready and armed with your credit card because with prices like these, they won't last long!"

      Very limited I'm sure :)

      • +1

        Cheers buddy :-)

      • +1

Do you know when they send the email after you subscribe? I confirmed subscription but there's no email for the treasure hunt clues lol

        • +1

I'd imagine around 7pm since that is the events proper start time, although by 7pm most of the deals are actually already out.

        • +1

          @hamza23:

Still no email or pop up lol

        • It's finished now. Clickfrenzy itself finishes in 10 minutes.

        • Yes but thought they would still take people for their mailing list (for future sale purposes) or do people have to sign up each year?

        • @daydream:

Subscription page is back up now. They're accepting mailing list subscriptions for next year!

        • A bit dodgy that they took it down during the event…

  • +1

    Who's selling fitbits cheap?

    Looking for one!

    • +1

Try Rebel sport with the REBFRENZY code. Some of those prices look fairly good after the 20% off, eg Fitbit Charge $198.40 + cashback. Even better if you have an AmEx $20 off to use.

      • +1

Thanks I saw the "Fitbits $1" advert though… Hmmmm

        • +1

Oh that :p Yeah on this Click Frenzy banner

See this above comment with instructions for that, that's being offered by Click Frenzy directly as some sort of treasure hunt. It will be extremely difficult to grab one though I'd imagine quantity will be minimal and demand high.

        • +2

          @hamza23:

Oooh okay forget that then :P

  • +1

anyone know what the travel deals might consist of? its my first year participating in this event.

  • +1

Actually, I do have a legitimate concern. What's to stop the click frenzy organisers pulling a dick smith and hoarding all the $4 ps4s as they would know where to look

  • +7

          edit: just got the email

        • +1

@koalafied: yeah well I am still waiting hahah

        • +1

          @Voltzy:

Make sure you refresh the page and clear cache cause sometimes it doesn't show the email. I signed up a few hours ago I think that's why it came late

        • +1

          @koalafied: cant subscribe anymore ?

  • +1

Don't think I'll be bothered with the first round. The chance of winning is obviously tiny, so I'll wait for the better ones before wasting my time :P would be nice to know the quantity though. Wonder if the better ones (like 55 inch samsung smart tv) is literally 1 of each…

    • +3

…aaand despite my comment of not bothering, I had a few minutes to spare and managed to bag a tv. Who would have thought.

      • For $10?

        • Maybe a bit difficult to follow this late after the event, but this was during the first round which had the smaller prizes. It was the 32" tv that I won.

        • @fruxo:

          Nicely done!

  • +1

Any cheap microSD cards up for sale? A quick browse didn't reveal much..

    • +1

Sure thing buddy, that's what we're here for :-)

  • +1

Any one else notice the Samsung 55" is now a 32"? Grr there's prolly on,y 1 any way at least get it right!

    • You might notice that it's also a different price. I think you'll find that the 55 inch and PlayStation etc will come later.

    • LG 55" 4K LCD TV $10
      Your instructions are:

Be in the Wine category using any device between 6.30pm - 7pm AEDT TODAY Wednesday 15 Nov.

  • +2

Any prior frenziers know if the banner pops up without refresh and in sight or you have to scroll the page constantly??!
