  • Awesome TV, great price.

  • +1

    This or the Samsung UA55KU6000W 55" (140cm) - $956 @ The Good Guys eBay deal (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/275704)?

    • This is better because 200Hz. Samsung is 60Hz.

  • Have the 65" version of this. Note isn't hdr. The picture quality and upscaling is excellent. Firefox os i could do without but it works. Great if you have netflix (with the single button) but is probably limited to 1080p. I have an nvidia shield tv hooked up for plex / youtube streaming. Tv speakers sound about as bad as the rest so would definitely recommend a sound bar or something similar. Casting to your mobile is a good gimmick also.

One thing i forgot to add. Default picture settings look shite. You will need to adjust.

    • I have the previous generation 65" model TH-65CX640A and the Netflix APP will do 4K streaming.

But as you said no HDR with these entry models.

Side viewing angles are rather poor if you are not directly in front with my model. Not sure if it is improved in latest model.

  • This sounds great but the lack of comments (when the Samsung deal has 200+) concerns me… Can't decide between this and K6000 so any other views would be great!!

  • Go for the hisense 55"7000 $1200 from good guys ebay at the moment.
Much better TV and has HDR

  • I recently purchased this TV for a little over $1200. For the price it's great. At $1099, even better!

Quadcore processor helps make app usage/navigation relatively snappy. Firefox OS is simple but does the job for me. i.e Netflix, youtube, etc.

This TV has digital out only (I use powered speakers) so had to get an additional DAC to get it running as I don't have a receiver.

  • Just bought one of these through the Betta website. Ends up around $1014 once Cashrewards kicks in. No HDR doesn't really bother me. Anyone know if Foxtel can be cast using TV Anytime?
