The Cadbury copywriter claims on the front of this chocolate's packaging "elegantly smooth dark chocolate with espresso and lingering cocoa character". He repeats that on the back, and then prominently exacerbates the vacuity with "Cadbury Coco dark chocolate is crafted from fine quality cocoa, carefully selected and refined to deliver an elegantly smooth dark chocolate experience that captivates the senses with lingering cocoa character". And I bet he doesn't have a girlfriend.
Evidence such marketing failed proliferates inside the refined splendour of Cessnock's elite exclusive emporium Ye Olde Reject Shoppe. As esteemed purveyors of haute cuisine dainties to gastronomes and metropolitan sophisticates, a Royal Warrant is inevitable. Hardly unreasonable in a year when - unimaginable 50 years ago - Barbara Windsor is knighted and Rolf Harris remains imprisoned for indecently assaulting minors.
Chocolate is a basic human right. This chocolate has a pleasant, somewhat mature coffee flavour (though not as strong as I'd prefer) and lacks the cloying, dominant aftertaste many dark chocolates impose. Made in Belgium, rated 70% cocoa, the quality justifies the $1 price, since a good chocolate bargain is rarer than a nice South African (thanks to O. Pistorius).
Now cheaper than the previous $1.50 deal, https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/264377 I saw at least 100 bars, about 60% Best Before mid-December, the remainder 31-01-2017. I bought a few as my Waterford Crystal bowl is almost empty. https://files.ozbargain.com.au/upload/46870/43501/img_201610…
The checkout vixen noticed the alliaceous bulb adorning my belt …
… which was the style at the time.
