How do you check the number of loyalty points that you currently have?

    • i was wondering the same

  • Any suggestions for a novice in the areas of safety razors?

Buy a not too aggressive razor like and Edwin Jagger DE89 or a Merkur HD. Get a decent badger hair brush, and a shaving cream or soap that lathers well.. Proraso seems popular. Buy a sample pack of different blades off ebay so you can go through them and figure out which is your favourite.

    • I would go for the Muhle R89. Closed comb, gentle on the skin. Isn't too easy to cut yourself but still delivers a close shave.

It's our best selling razor for that reason.

  • This looks cool, but shame your shavettes are out of stock :( really wanted to pick one up

Hi OP, if you could put together a kit with the following or similar:

    • MUHLE: R89 DOUBLE EDGED SAFETY RAZOR
    • MUHLE: HJM P 3 S SHAVING BRUSH, PURE BADGER, BLACK HANDLE
    • MUHLE: RC AV ALOE VERA SHAVING CREAM TUBE, 75ML
    • ASTRA SUPERIOR: PLATINUM DOUBLE EDGE

At a bit of a discount vs buying separately, I would be almost certain to buy one for myself and one as a gift. And I think putting together a kit like this would make it a lot easier for someone starting out to buy something without having to research a fair bit.

Also, store looks great, I think its great to have specialist online stores like this with good customer service.

    • yeah i was looking for a kit like that too

    • That was what I had in my cart .. minus the Shaving brush.

With discounts it came to just under $60… if OP can do a kit/pack type special would be awesome!

PM me guys and I'll see what I can do for you!

        • Awesome - PM sent!

          Thanks in advance.

      Thank you. Appreciate that.

Kits will be coming to 2017, as will proraso and trufitt.

Thinking of running several kits with all the popular razor choices like the R89, R41 and Merkur 34 etc…

Was holding off because I wanted to wait until I got proraso on the shelves so I could give some more choice in shaving creams for starters.

If you send me a PM of everything you want, and your email address, I can try and put something together for you!

Sorry about the delay. Will respond to messages now.

  • Which razor would you recommend for coarse hair tossing up between one of the Grande you have for the longer handles.

And if you are doing a kit would be interested.

    • R41 or r41 grande is your best bet. Any of the Merkurs would be good too. They're all open comb. And pretty aggressive.

If you want a kit I can do something for you if te value is above $100 just because it's already reduced so heavily. Wouldn't be a massive reduction, but I'll see what I can do.

Send me a Pm with the items you're after!

Thanks guys for the recommendation - have been using my new R89 Grande for the past week and love it.

Thank you for the feedback! Glad you're enjoying the razor!

If you don't mind, your experience helps others also shopping for their first razor, if you could leave a quick review under the product. Would really appreciate it!
