I'll wait for the Annual 30% off Scoopon Deal https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/227360 - coming any moment now ;)
    Man those were the days….

    • +1

Isn't 5.5% basically the standard rate these days? I mean Groupon just keeps this deal going almost constantly now and CR usually has ~5.5% special monthly.

      • Yea, those 5.5% deals though gets over 200 votes…. About time.

    • Don't think it will happen this year.

      • +3

People (including the man himself) didn't think The Donald would be the next POTUS either! Never say never.

    • Thank you so very much for the heads up!

      • I said it with tongue in cheek mate - i think Scoopon stuffed up and a few heads rolled last year. Cross your fingers and pray but no promises.

  • +7

prefer to buy from CR as I get 3 MR rewards with the amex edge.

    • but couldn't you also pay with amex at groupon?

      • +3

You don't get 3 points per dollar with groupon

  • +5

I can't enjoy this deal as groupon is hopeless when there is a problem with card/order, I bought once masters card and they were useless in solving the problem. so for me groupon is dead, they can offer 50% off I wouldn't bite

Targeted code T3342 gets you 5% off . Just used it and got a $200 Card for $180 so that was 10% off. Me happy

    • +10

I tried T3342 it said coupon code successfully applied but actual amount stayed the same :-(

      • +1

        its targetted

        • targeted from groupon or cashrewards?

      • Didn't work for me either :(

    • Does the price change as soon as you apply it?

      • +2

        yes

        • Damn. Didn't work for either of my accounts.

    • Do you have to spend the $200 in one transaction or do you keep a balance?

  • Worked good for me. I bought a $500 egift card and paid $452.50

    • Face palm. Max of 20 exceeded.

  • +1

T3342 code has been applied to your order.

But no discount applies. Guess I'm not targeted :(

  • +2

Purchased a $200 card, applied code, no further discount.

    • Same here :-(

  • +2

Not as good as 10% off from before!

  • Target code didn't work for me too….
But Don't forget to cashreward for extra 3% goodness ppl

    • I believe Cashrewards doesn't apply for gift card purchases.

Me so sad… thanks for letting me know though!

I just went to my local Woolworths and a staff told me that there is a new policy I cannot use an eWish card to buy the plastic wish card anymore, could you please confirm the information? Or I just met a dumb staff? Thanks.

  • Brilliant, got the extra $20 discount to. I'm just worried about the above comment because I don't shop with them online. I shop in store so I hope I can use this voucher?

    • Assuming this is a simple Wish eGift Card, then no worries at all. Use them all the time.

    • When in store, select e-gift card as the payment option at self check-out (or tell the operator you want to pay with an e-gift card) and simply key in the card no and PIN when prompted, it's that easy!

Also keep in mind Wish eGift Cards can be used at Caltex Woolworths petrol stations, BigW, Dan Murphy's etc…

  • Does anyone know if purchasing these using amex counts toward your minimum spend requirements (e.g. spend $1500 in first 2 months to get 3000 qff blah blah..)?

    • +1

      Yes

    • +1

      Yes, it would.

  • the website says 2—5 business days. have anyone gotten it within 24 hrs? Usually, e-wish gift card from cashreward is fairly fast. ie. within 24 hrs. I want to buy something for christmas so can't wait for 2—5 business days!

    • If you need it fast, get it from Cash Rewards.

    • +1

My $200 WW egift card took a couple of days from Groupon.
Egift cards from Cash Rewards only took a couple of hours for me.

      Here is the Groupon result:
      ordered Mon 19 December 2016 at 18:00
      received Wed 21 December 2016 at 22:11

If you need it to use it the same day, or even in the next day or two, then the Groupon extra half percent discount is not worth it.
For same day use, Cash Rewards is a good bet and always available.

      • Thank you. Good to know!

  • +1

    Sold out now.

  • As squeeb noted, sold out and should be marked as such ?
