  • Not sure if its the same one or not as different product code but http://www.harveynorman.com.au/hisense-65-series-3-4k-ultra-… is $1395 (plus $50 delivery to regional address for me). Maybe possible to get a price match? Maybe?

Not a chance. 10-bit panel vs 8-bit panel.

      • oh thanks for letting me know, i couldn't figure out what the difference was lol, cheers

  • Nope. Different model. HN is 65K3300UW

bought this tv a few weeks ago, highly recommend!!! picture is great, blacks are super black. pair it up with a chrome cast ultra and enjoy the minimal 4k content!

    • have you tried it with playing content off a network drive?

is it reasonably fast to search the content and play?

      • yeah quite responsive. pretty sweet with streaming via plex

  • Just picked this up.
Pricematched at HN for $1599, and used AMEX to get $100 back.
$1499 for this TV is pretty good!

I am really, really impressed with this tv. If you look up the reviews, its hard to find any complaints at all!
Ive had it now for just under 24hrs and no regrets at all. I was tossing up between this, or paying a little more for the LG lcd, and its certainly been the right choice. I would consider myself a bit of a brand snob, which is why i hesitated in purchasing.

Im only a casual gamer, but hooked up the PS4 pro to the tv last night for some 4k video tests and to try BF1 and was blown away.

Now i need to mention, that this was an upgrade from a 2010 46" samsung, so i was probably going to be blown away no matter what. But i do look for crushed blacks , blur and other annoying aspects when buying a tv as its mainly used for sport and gaming.

Overall, im stoked. But its still a mid range tv. Dont expect it to be like an OLED.

        • Thanks for this. We currently have a series 6 Samsung 55" 4K TV, but just looking for an upgrade in terms of size.

Overall we've been happy with the Sammy, but looking at the 75" version of this TV, and the price of this compared to Samsung is much more attractive.

        • imo the 65 looked better than the 75 in the loop i was watching, which could have 1080 or 4k.
Noticeable artifacts on the bigger screen, which is to be expected i guess.
But see it in person first if you can.
