      Real time stock level are often an issue, even with Oz bargain where the retailer has a few items e.g 5 off something, and we don't see their inventory levels …..

      I like the Ebay ones where they show they online inventory and run it down as people buy.

      even at JB or HN, if they don't have it in store , they look up other store inventory, but if its says "2 left" you need to get staff to check ….. one is display probably and second one nobody can find as it's making it's way to the cash register.

      Retailers need to look at building loyalty and build confidence, and when the Good Guys ran out of an item I bought, they gave me the next model up as a substitute or a refund.

      Big W swapped my Xbox One for a One S because it seems what was sold to me as a new Xbox One, was returned item (customer repacked and took back but didn't delete their account), none of the old Xbox Ones left so they gave me a One S or refund , and were apologetic as the S was white and my old unit as black. They fixed an out of stock issue with a substitute after taking my money.

      Lenovo don''t invoice and take your money until they confirm they have stock …. so not even a refund needed it out of stock.

      Must be trickier with shoes …… how many get sent back because they don't fit ?

        If you are a professional runner then get something that will suit your needs, but if you are an occasional one then they are great.

    Fresh foam trailblazers were a little narrow for me. apparently casual shoes only come in full sizes, and only the running shoes have half sizes. not a huge issue, but a slight annoyance that I wish i knew before buying.

    still… great shoes. Super comfy

A tracking receipt is merely confirmation that your sale has successfully tracked through CR. As the coupon is not listed or advertised on CR, the merchant may decline commission when they finalise and consolidate the sale.

          Got the tracking email, the item sat in my account for 2 months, was then declined mid December.

      I did 2 orders through Cash Rewards for New Balance and both cashback offers were declined a few months ago. Something about using a code makes the cashback offer not applicable.

    fresh foam trailblazers are one of the best shoes I've ever owned. Very well built and I absolutely belt them. Very comfy too, just snug around the ankles so be prepared to stretch them out for a few hours of wear before they loosen up.

      I think it really depends on the shoe and your foot, but if you went a 10.5 then I think that would be the safest option, and choose for a standard fit :)

          That was just what suited me man, I'm generally a 10 in Nike and I got the 420's in 10.5 and they fit perfectly! Using that comparer is probably a much better idea, or trying in store.

          that is why I don't buy shoes online unless same brand as I already own ….. big differences in fit between brands.

          Guess you need to try brands in store before the sales , make a list e.g size 10 new balance, size 9 nike, etc and then grab the bargains.

      Its been years since i sold sports shoes but in the past new balance were generally wider then nikes and addidas.

        Don't know. Didn't wear the ones I bought from the previous deals for a whole day. I just tried them on. But they fitted well and felt good in my feet when I tried them on.

          I ended up getting some of these and for the price they are great casual exercise shoes. But I wouldn't recommend going on long, consistent runs with them.

      TA said above that it's at the discretion of the merchant whether they pay commission or not, I guess it's not a guaranteed 6.40% but more of a maybe, guess purchasers will have to wait a few months to see. I will update the post to accommodate this :)

      yes, New Balance aren't cool, but with shoes it's all about fit …. like a suit ….. and New Balance have shoes that suit your foot size, then that is more important than than brand,

      I tend to wear Brooks because they are wider and have more arch support.

    Good post OP. Bought a backpack.
    Sharing my experience with football boots.
    I used one of the promotional vouchers from Bupa, to buy the visaro football boots. From my personal experience, the boots did not last even 3 months (used twice weekly- for training and game). The synthetic material on top was below average, providing the least of protection, if one gets stepped on by another player while playing soccer. The only plus point I found was that the boots were light weight. They are a bit narrow and not suitable for wide feet and as a result developed callus on both feet.
    So, if have wide feet, I probably would not recommend buying the football boots.

      Sorry to hear yours was cancelled. My 590v5 were dispatched yesterday, Thursday. But I've also got another order (the backpack, which I ordered when that deal was first posted)was cancelled because "it was oversold when I made the purchase". Bullshit! Some people who ordered that exact backpack after I did got their dispatch confirmed. Their online sales system (at least during clearance sales) seems to be hit and miss.
