  • I assume the micro should be good for GoPro upto 1080p 30fps?

    Should film 100 hours?

    Too small.

  • What's the RRP?

    • if you ever want to know old prices use Price hipster but they were $16.95

  • Older 48mbps - not 80mbps.

    • +1

the 48 vs 80 is read speed not write ….. for recording you want write speed.
Fine for 1080p, but stretching for 4K …. for 4K use the sandisk extreme, has faster write speed, but still only 80mb read.

      • In my opinion budget 4k isn't worth it yet. If a camera is 4K though still using SD cards, you're probably better off with an equally priced 1080p60 camera - the quality difference is far more valuable than the upgrade to 4k.

These cards will easily do 1080p60, just copying from them will be slower than the newer 80MB/s cards.

  • Thanks OP, just a note to everyone Ted's won't match it. 2 for $17 there.

I was asking about 4k today, the guy summarized it as "If you don't know what is it, you probably don't need it:.

Check out Teds sale, picked up catalogue from Chadstone, memory cards are 2for1 deals,

    https://www.teds.com.au/media/catalogue/html5/index.html?pag…

Some outstanding deals from brick and mortar store:

    2x Lexar Pro 95Mbps 16Gb @ $19.95
    2x Sandisk Ultra 90Mbps 32Gb @ $32.95

Obviously SE deals are better. This is current and walk in buys, valid to 31/12/2016.

    Cheers

    • Not as good as the price on the PC Byte ebay website. Minus 20% off when it's on and the price isn't even close.

  • i think this one has better reviews and good for price

    LExar 64GB $55

  • Thanks OP, picked up 4 of the MicroSD cards today. They were 80mbps, not the 48mbps.

  • Just confirming what wedge just stated. These are the 80mbps cards - not the 48. Buy buy buy!

  • OW was happy to price match, got 2 for $15.20. 80mbps too.
